I think Kym has been fantastic on Coronation Street. She has created a bright, modern woman who does not comply to the often used tart-with-a-heart or bitch role.

Despite possibly the worst plot in the history of Coronation Street she has emerged to make Michelle likeable and engaging.

News that she is being moved to the factory will allow them to develop her relationship with Karla, a relationship with so much history.

Completely agree. She's vastly underrated on here, and I actually find her to be a lovely person.

Aye, the problem with the character is, she's not really had much of a point on the street, though I do find it silly the character is always in new expensive clothes, though that's down to wardrobe lol

She wasn't even in the Tony Gordan storyline despite her brother being murdered.

Obviously they thought she couldn't cope with such a storyline... just liek the baby swap one... you know the real son we never ever see or hear off.

You don't know that though... so it's not obvious.

She will come into her own in the factory

Was quite impressed with her on that opera reality show. Pretty good voice.

And I like her as Michelle. The character is inoffensive without being a total bitch or a wet blanket. She's shown herself to be a surprisingly watchable actress.

I was very suspicious at first, but she proved me wrong. She's a capable actress!

I really liked her with Kenny Doughty too!

I find her dull and uninteresting (the character and the actress).
I wouldn't shed a tear if she found herself standing near the viaduct on anniversary night.

I really want Michelle to have a one night stand with Steve and fall pregnant! It would be brilliant. Becky wouldn't even be able to say anything without being a massive hypocrite - actually she is so maybe that doesn't work.

Can't believe there's not more posts in this thread! Have been reading her autobiography lately - a great read!

She has been quite good recently in the last 2 weeks or so since Ryan's return.

After all the negativity around her, it may ease up after years of doing nothing.

Still she doesn't earn my respect for having a 3 year contract deal... how silly.

Loved her & Steve on monday; Michelle:"How long before someone leaves hospital, is it ok to smack them?" Steve:"In Tracey's case, the hospital car park"... LOL
