HDR FOX T2 media browsing problem (DLNA)
RedEarth
27-09-2010
I bought an HDR FOX T2 yesterday and got it all connected up and working no problem at all, and I can browse the media libraries on the two laptops on my home network (1 WinXP and one Win7) and also my Iomega NAS media drive, however when I navigate through the folders for my music collection, I select an album or artist name and it just jumps back to the top of that list so I have to scroll all the way down again and reselect it, then the actual music files are listed. Has anyone else noticed this?

I'm not sure exactly which firmware release I'm running (I'll check this when I get home tonight), but have there been any bug fixes relating to DLNA browsing in recent updates?

I know the HDR is not DLNA-certified but the manual does claim that it can access media on other DLNA devices, which indeed it does, but there are obviously still bugs with it.

Was previously using version 1.01.04. Just upgraded to 1.01.05, seems much better now.
