But they do. Its more a female than male thing but the reason is that people will choose to turn smooth on because they know exactly what they will hear whenever they turn it on.
It's not the small playlist on its own its the fact it's the most popular songs. A small playlist of bad and unpopular songs would kill an audience bit I bet Global are being clever sbout the songs chosen.
