It beggars belief that the listening figures could actually increase on the basis of the output I have been hearing. It is what I would describe as "dead behind the eyes" radio. It's there, but not at home, so to speak. Substitute "eyes" for "ears" I suppose.
The in-house radio being piped into my local co-operative food store has more going for it.
I bet Smooth is unlikely to last, as I cannot tell the difference between what it has now become and a Gold station. It's just one of those by another name.
