Actually when talking about the staff many will probably feel like a weight has been.lifted from them, even if they have been fired. Knowing if you have a job or not is better than wondering if and when. At first they'd feel sbit but then they'll get on with finding better jobs and will find out that they are better off and happier than they were. Sucess often comes after a fall.

The female voice sounds quite similar to the actress Frances Barber but that's just a wild guess.

Does anybody know the name of the presenter who reads the news in the mornings on Smooth East Midlands.I recognise her voice.

Most mornings I've tuned in it's been Anna Tyler, Global(& Communicorp)'s Head of News for the East Midlands - also appears on Capital EM's breakfast show.

Heard her read the news at weekends on Smooth too, remember her from her days at Leicester Sound
