Onscreen time display

This is probably an easy one. When my Humax Foxsat is on a time display in the bottom right of my TV has appeared! Don't know what I did to get it in the first place! Read through the manual & checked through the on-screen menus but I can't find how to switch it off?

Pretty sure it's not from the Foxsat it must be generated by your TV as a picture overlay. Time to read the TV manual or flick through it's menus

As it only shows when my Foxsat is switched on - seems more likely the Foxsat! Otherwise it would be on TV screen all the time wouldn't it?

Have you tried moving the Foxsat to another input on the TV or better still temporarily plug another device into the input that Foxsat is using. This should prove that the time display is being generated by the TV.

Try the i button on your tv remote...that usually gives you the input info...keep pressing till your screen clears...it does it with mine (Sony)

I would guess that it's a Humax screensaver - saw it on the HD-Fox (with external USB drive) at the weekend whilst paused on a recording.
