Does either the router or the TV have a connection indicator LED - normally Green or Yellow (May be part of the socket on the TV) and is it lit?

Is DHCP enabled on the router?

Have you tried testing the cable on one of the other connections?

Good. The green light indicates connection powered.

Try completely repowering the TV (disconnect mains for 30 Secs) and repower with network cable connected.

After the TV is fully powered wait for 30 secs then look at the routers connected devices - Do you see the TV?

Check the TV is set to acquire IP address automatically.

[Sorry I thought the DMR 750 was a TV - see it's not]

Using the routers web access normally something like http://192.168.0.1 you should be able to display attached devices - is the DMR 750 shown? See the router manual got details, id and password.

Always power up the router at least 30 secs before anything else.

What else is connected to the router and are they all set to acquire IP addresses automatically?

Refer to the checklist on the DMR 750 manual [Page 94 of the on-line manual]

Then run the DMR 750 connection test again.
