I can't wait.

"Morning Lord Sugar " .... though I will miss siralan.

My favourite moment from The Apprentice is Trey on the Art task. " It's all tits and fish !"

Anyone else care to share their favourite moment ?

Ah, the "fave" (or more accurately the horror) moments on TA....

1...The pillock taking cheap cheddar cheese to France.

2...The "good jewish boy" who didnt know the difference between halal and kosher chicken.

"I sent you out to sell quality British products. I wanted you to take that product and say 'this is what us British produce, this is not mass produced tut!' And what you do, is you go and buy a breeze-block load of bloody cheddar cheese"

Was he the same guy that had his little bean tin and a candle to cook sausages with on the market ?

Not a chance I would have thought. Firstly I have never thought this show had anything to do with promoting serious business skills and secondly, what business does Sugar have at the moment exactly? Long gone are the days of Amstrad and surely he is now merely a media personality / former Government 'celebrity' appointment.

I saw a sign on a building recently saying it had been acquired by AMSPROP, which is his property empire, that's his business now

I think Simon from 3 series ago is still working for him in the property business and I haven't heard anything about last years winner, who's name completely escapes me at the moment, leaving. I think she is working in the same advertising section that Lee worked in.

She's up the duff at the moment, and will be knocking it out very soon!

I saw Cassetteboy and about eight of his associates dancing/miming/acting along to that video (and his other ones) with costumes, on one of the stages at Glastonbury this summer. It was ... odd ... but VERY funny watching them all with a large crowd.

Lee and Simon left this summer, 2 & 3 years respectively. Yasmina still does. She's booked to give a presentation in mid October at the digital signage industry's trade exhibition in Germany.

That'll be Amscreen, the digital signage company, which has a staff of 49 yet has barely managed to turnover £2million profit each year for the past five years. The net profit last year was MINUS £2million.

Sugar isn't even a Director of any companies at the moment, the guy is a hasbeen.

Could you let us know the source of your figures? Especially as Amscreen was only created in 2008 Sugar took over an existing company then (which became the BP, WH Smiths, etc arm) and a year later a heathcare signage firm, so adding their clients. Does your staff number include the Lancashire part?

If you want an informed industry commentator's view on Amscreen from 2 weeks ago, rather than someone in armchair, plz look here. If anything, they are definately on the up.
http://www.dailydooh.com/archives/33142

Search that site if you want more info on Amscreen and some on Yasmina too.

Whilst, I'd agree, Sugar could have been a major player if he'd continued on the upwards direction he was going in the 80's. That he isn't, is IMHO down to him being his own worst enemy. However, hasbeen? No, not yet. He stepped down from his companies last year due to 'conflict of interests' with him working for the then govt. Claude Littner took over as caretaker. Now, Sugar is back as chairman of AmsHold, the holding company of the group. Good luck getting meaningful figures from them, though in no way is it as convoluted (read tax evading devious) as the spagetti nest Branson has built up.

I'm no fan of Sugar, or Amscreen, but you need to try and be fair I think.

It looks like there is already some controversy with one of the apprentices!
