Not receiving text messages - help?
Hi. One of my contacts is not receiving my text messages anymore.
Everyone else is receiving them from me - and I am able to receive hers - but she cant receive mine. Has anyone had this happen before? Can anyone help me? I'm on the orange network and she is on tesco. Thanks in hope. |

Has she tried turning it off and on again
Also is it just you she can't receive text messages from or is it anyone. If switching it off and on again doesn't help I'd suggest calling Tesco CS up and see what they say |

Hi Davethorp.
I'll tell her to turn it off and on again. She is getting messages from everyone else - it's only mine she is not getting. She rang the Tesco helpline but they are "baffled"....! |

This sounds like her handset has the facility to 'block' messages. Has she accidentally blocked you?
As an example some Samsung handsets keep two lists, one of numbers which wont cause the phone to ring and one of numbers from which text messages are discarded. |

That could also be the issue. She should check her block list if there is one. Tesco use the O2 network and occasionally on O2 I've had messages not come right through and turning it off and on again sorts that out normally which is why I suggested it (plus it is the universal fix for lots of tech problems)

![]() I'll ask her to check if she has a blocked list. Unfortunately she is as technically hopeless as me! But fingers crossed we will be able to sort it. If not, I'll be back!

My sister has spoken with Tesco again and they have told her how to unblock my number...so we are back in action again!
