Foxsat HDR - adding a non-Freesat channel

I wanted to add the radio station LBC 97.3 to my list of available channels but don't seem to be able to do it. It is on the 11222H transponder.
The User Guide is not exactly helpful in this respect. It was easy to do on my GUFSAT01HD but the Foxsat seems more complicated.
I tried Manual Tuning but that seems to wipe out all Freesat stations and substitues all signals received on the 11222H transponder, allocating them channel numbers in the 5000 range.
Presumably it is possible to add channels without deleting the main ones.
Can anyone tell me the correct procedure?

Menu - setup - manual tune.
select transponder and scroll to frequency, select channel type and press > til you see radio, now select search. Then save results

Press the ok button whilst in non-freesat mode to call up the channel list then press the red button repeatedly until 'Radio' is selected, now press ok and the cursor will jump to the listing. Scroll down until you find LBC 97.3

When you manually tune it should not affect your freesat channels at all. When you first add channels it creates a new menu entry that lets you switch modes, Adding channels in this way always leaves you in non freesat mode, simply use the menu to switch back. Menu/Settings/STB Mode.

You can't add non-freesat channels to the freesat channel list you have to switch modes to use them

Many thanks guys. I thought the Freesat channels had disappeared but I was evidently in non-Freesat mode.

Originally adding/moving/deleting or editing non-freesat channels clobbered your freesat recording schedules, and a new channel scan clobbered ITV-HD reservations. Those days thankfully are long gone . A factory reset though will remove all non-freesat channels and you will have to rescan to get them back

Managed to add LBC on channel 5018. However, changing from a Freesat to a non-Freesat channel seems clumsy. Is there any way that can be done easily - patrticularly 'blind' over a wireless link. I like to listen to LBC in bed, which I do with a digibox. I would like to be able to swap the Foxsat HD receiver for the digibox.

Basically no. Because the menu is always entered with the last used option active ypu can't even use a macro on a programmeable remote because the key sequence varies according to which menu item happens to be active

Thanks for the confirmation. Looks like I have to keep both boxes active then.
