buy the orange sanfransisco instead! Cheaper and better resolution than the wildfire! I;m not sure on whether you can buy apps using credit I think you need a google account and that takes moneys out of your card?

I have a Wildfire (which I am very pleased with I must add) and just tried purchasing an app. The only method of payment it gave was a credit card.

Well the San Fran has a 500% higher screen resolution,
The Wildfire was OK in its day but even my LG GT540 at £100 is probably better.

Usually you use Google checkout to pay for apps.
Maybe a very few have a 'pay by text' facility.

Plain and simply, you cant pay with credit you use to top the phone up, although that is good idea that you might wont to tell google.

As mentioned above the only payment is with a credit card.

That will work.

ALso if you don't like the app you could get a refund.

Debit and credit card payments are taken with Google Checkout (like paypal and accepted on a lot of other shopping sites too). There's also the option to get a refund within 24 hours if you don't like the apps. Some apps are paid for in other currencies though, so check your bank doesn't charge you a currency conversion fee.
