Oh dear, given the spoiler about the strop afterwards I guess it's Melissa who bites the dust and not Stuart. But oh, I wish it would be Baggs the Brand who gets the axe. Argh!

There's still the slight chance of Stuart going but I imagine LS will keep him to see how he does as PM.

Task 6 - Branding & Advertising...

From the RT web site:

Quote:
“Alan Sugar challenges the remaining candidates to create a branding and advertising campaign for a new multi-purpose household cleaner. Under the watchful eye of Nick Hewer and Karren Brady, the hopefuls pitch their ideas to a panel of industry experts, but some of their efforts cause raised eyebrows as team members struggle to keep focus.”

The following clips (from the intro each week) have not appeared yet on the show to my knowledge:

- Alex and Chris running in a shopping hall (next week´s episode?)

- A female and male (wearing ski gear over their heads) at an exhibition, my best guess is Alex and Stella (the arms are very white and the long braided hair is probably part of the gear in question + it seems like Stella´s voice in the clip)

- Jamie dropping the mannequin (next week)

- Lord Sugar in the boardroom: ´You´ve talked yourself out of this´ (Joanna or Paloma?)

- Lord Sugar in the boardroom: ´You´ve been reported as useless, you´ve been reported as doing naff all´ (keep an eye on Karren in that shot, for clothing purposes, because I have a feeling it is next week´s final boardroom)

- Joanna and Liz loading some stuff into the back of a car

- Paloma in the boutique (next week): I´m just gonna flip out in a minute´ (camp handmovements and all)

Except for the exhibition one, all of these clips could appear next week (Liz is on Joanna´s team as seen in the trailer). This is excluding the intro for this week´s show, as it is not up yet on the tube (can´t get iplayer in my country).

There is also a clip of The Brand and Chris in a car, but I don´t know if that has already featured on the show.

Looks like Apollo lose without their ringer Liz (as per "useless, naff all")

Alex is back in the boardroom, but the direction in which LS points suggests he isn't fired.

My guess - based on what we have so far- is Paloma or Laura.

Probably not. At the moment the teams are large so it's three on the backseat of a car.

People in ski-gear look like definitely Liz and either Jamie or Chris to me.

Hmm, but in the past they have cunningly reversed the film in the teasers to mislead us about the direction he is pointing in.

Seems like Apollo REALLY got the shaft this week - not only has Liz moved over to the other side, but they've got Baggsy as a replacement!

Surprisingly, Paloma is involved in another row with a teammate

By the way, putting team members behind windows to attract customers is not such a bad idea (mind you, I was born in Amsterdam ). A bit tricky to see Nick comment on fashion ideas, as I can´t see him (or his lordship) being trendy in that area.

Whoever got fired wouldn't do the press interview today.

Post number 1000!

Congrats

Do you mean they've refused to do it?

They didn't want to speak to the press, same as a refusal I suppose.

Should we assume from that refusal, that Christopher goes tonight then? Maybe he's not allowed to talk to the press pending a court case??

Good thinking, I was thinking The Brand, just because of his ego if he gets a bad edit - but Christopher makes sense.

Mind you, it would mean that the final boardroom in the previews is not the one featured tonight (with Alex sitting on the right hand side, viewed from the front of the contestants).

Plus the fact that Paloma would survive another week.

Strangely enough, I am not able to see a male contestant fired tonight (yes, I know it is a fashion task). Both PM’s are female, so that also reduces the chance of a male contestant being fired. All of the girls, except Stella and Joanna (who wisely enough remain in the background when not being a PM), are in danger of getting fired tonight.

I know Alex and paloma have a major bust up and lord sugar tweeted earlier Alex is from Manchester so should know everything, something to that effect.

Can't see Alex knowing very much about ladies fashion. And as their team is selling handbags, I would defy most blokes to understand what is good or bad with them.

It could be selecting location perhaps?

I remember thinking at the time he was being sarcastic, the task is in Manchester.

From the RT web site:

Quote:
“The remaining candidates head to Pinewood film studios in Buckinghamshire, where they are challened to create immersive personal movie experiences that give consumers a chance to star in their own feature films. Both teams stretch their creative muscles and put together car races, rollercoaster rides and encounters with sharks, before visiting Westfield shopping centre in London to promote their creations to the public.”

There was a new intro clip this episode of Liz and Joanna on a team of two together on the street. That doesn't really match up with any task we've seen thus far, or either of the next two, so they might last a while yet (not really a surprise I know...)

I could only work out Joanna in that clip (there was a second person in front of her), but the next clip showed Stella looking around on some square (immediately I thought those clips belonged together and Stella was running ahead of Joanna).

Will have to look out for the intro during the repeat, though it makes sense that Joanna and Liz are a subteam in a future task (being on the same team plus the previous intro clip of them loading stuff into the boot of a car; not seen yet).

I think that the teams will stay the same from now on and it seems like a battle between Liz-Joanna-Stella and Stuart-Chris (the only candidates save for the time being, based on the clips).

You're right, it's Stella, not Liz. My brain fritzed on the names of the two presumptive frontrunners there.
