The "music, musicians, song choices and singers" thread
Doktor Dances
01-10-2010
Starting this thread/dumping ground/mature discussion group for the inevitable arguments/mature discussions about

singers ruining/improving songs,
songs ruining/improving dances,
dancers choosing utterly stupid/fantastically relevent songs

And for associated purposes

Do they have a new male singer (the one who sang Could It Be Magic) - or have I just never noticed him before?

He looked lovely.

I thought the Ke$ha fail was the only lowlight of the show.

Aren't we supposed to have endless crap singers? What's going on?!!?

The female singer Hayley Sanderson who sang the song accompanying Scott and Natalie was outstanding. Highlight of the show for me as well as their waltz, although I agree with the panel it that it was a tad too sexy for a waltz.

I remembered tonight why I can't watch this show for longer than a couple of dances. I've probably missed endless discussions on the subject, but why do they use an in-house band instead of original tracks?
