Bon Jovi have announced they are to release their 2nd Greatest Hits in November,

tracklisting is:

1. Livin' On A Prayer
2. You Give Love A Bad Name
3. Its My Life
4. Have A Nice Day
5. Wanted Dead Or Alive
6. Bad Medicine
7. We Weren't Born To Follow
8. I'll Be There For You
9. Born To Be My Baby
10. Bed Of Roses
11. Who Says You Can't Go Home (Not Duet)
12. Lay Your Hands On Me
13. Always
14. In These Arms
15. What Do You Got?
16. No Apologies

new song 'What you got' can be heard here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAMYIKfIVSQ&ob=av2e

I know they have many critics and don't sell like they used to...but that's still a cracking track-listing. The new song's got a bit more 'ooph' to it than their past few albums singles too.

You're right, a lot of people do knock them and in the past I've been one of them, being more Gn'R than Bon Jovi.

Back in June though I did go to see them at the O2 and they were brilliant - went home and got straight on the internet to book tickets for the last night as well.

JBJ still has a superb voice and can belt them out for 3 hours, seemingly without strain. I also like that it's just the band - no backing singers, brass section or whatever.

I don't think their music comes over so well on record but when you get Livin' on a Prayer belted out by around 20,000 people at the O2 it's a pretty intense experience.

Bit disappointed that they've left Keep the Faith off the new GH album - it's my personal favourite

I agree they are a fantastic live band, I've seen them twice (at the City Of Manchester Stadium) you definitely get value for money at a 'Jovi gig. In 2005 we got support from Nickleback, then a near 3-hour set from Bon Jovi themselves.

have been disappointed with their last 2 albums though, Crush took them down a more experimental route, Bounce was pretty hard-hitting and Have A Nice day had some catchy songs...but the last two were very dreary IMO

The only singles I personally like are Dry County and Keep The Faith - how on earth could these not make this mediocre list of tracks...

Dry Country would have been too long to include I presume.

Keep the faith is an unusual omission though.

Would have thought with the immense back catalogue that they have, they would have gone for a double cd, then there would have been room for Dry County. Surprised there isn't a single track from These Days as its personally my fave album (with the track These Days being my fave ever Bon Jovi song), but I guess most of the songs from that album weren't big hits.

Agreed. I'd buy that if I get it. The supermarkets only seem to have the 1-Disc though.

A clever ploy by the record company to reissue the album with a second CD claiming it to be a limited edition version.

I love Dry County too. Piss poor compilation really. No doubt there will be a better compilation released in the future. The 2 Disc version is slightly better:

Why anyone would buy a second Bon Jalopy greatest hits CD is beyond me. I mean if their newer stuff isn't as good as the old stuff. Wouldn't buying a second GH album be more or less the same songs as the first one.

And anyway isn't The Greatest Hits their first album?
