How can anyone think he's a cert to win when we haven't seen half the couples dance yet?!

I think he's definitely got a chance of making the final, and I hope he does if his ballroom's as good as his Latin, but it's far too early to call a definite winner!!

But so may any of them since nobody has yet been eliminated. I know we shall be voting Widders in this house irrespective of dancing talent so there's one 'celebrity' who'll be garnering votes.

Do you mean - is he a hot favourite at this point? OR has he a good chance?

One would think he has a good chance but a lot depends on his general popularity (think Chris Hollins) in addition to his moves.

The Beeb will be dying to get a female winner after the last two series so don't expect fair marking from the judges. And for me, the juries out on Aliona's judgment as a choreographer and teacher. But he looks the best dancer by a long chalk of those we've seen.

Glad to see they used the Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell version of; "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," even though they massacred the middle eight.
Best performance of the night.

I think his performance was one of the strongest, I was amazed for some reason I didn't think he would be very good.

I was impressed despite the fact of his irritating John Noakes clone manner and speech, "Blue Peteresque" performances on Countryfile.
