Yes, I do miss the regular pro's. ”

The whole idea of not using 'traditional' music is to enable the show to reach to the masses...and I have to say I prefer it that way. Loving the mix of traditional dance with contemporary music.

I was turned off by the original 'Come Dancing' because it felt to old fashioned and not relevant.

I think this is spot on. I admit to watching X Factor but have started to feel more and more uncomfortable about it - almost grubby. Strictly on the other hand just makes me feel good.

if you saw all the 'idol' shows on the Continent and in the US and further afield, you would see how appallingly cheap the Cowell show was (except for himself, of course). Sad that Idol/star winners are so unable to look after themselves.

the Strictly show is far classier.

For me, Strictly has got it all, celebrities entertaining the nation & all the glitz & glitter that is magical for kids to watch with the rest of the family.

If I want to see shit karaoke I'll go down my local on a Saturday night.

It's all down to taste I suppose but I'd rather sit at home and be entertained by famous people doing something, than watch Cowell & Co Ltd trying to brainwash me into his way of thinking.

i gave up on xfactor a few years ago,i find it boring ...although i do disagree with some of the changes that strictly has made over the last 2 years , i still love it , not for the celebs but for the amazing pro dancers , my passion is for dance and it makes my week to see how brilliant they are
