The intro to the Sugababes' Wear My Kiss and Adam Lambert's If I Had You sound very similar.

A lot of Queen's "Let me live" sounds very much like "piece of my heart" made famous by janis joplin, in fact i beleive they copied a few bits of it directly, but i think legal action may have been threatened and, so the song was edited.

Let me live by Queen

"Piece of my heart" by Janis joplin.

The Official Chart show on BBC Radio 1 has been doing this for a while now...

JLS ft. Tinie Tempah - Eyes Wide Shut (2010/11)
Calvin Harris - I'm Not Alone (2009)
Chris Brown - Yeah 3X (2011)
*du du du du du...*
And then he goes and copies I Gotta Feeling and Dynamite in the same song!
It's blatantly the same.

From 1.15 - I Gotta Feeling. 1.29 - Dynamite

I was about to post that.

Also, the Moody Blues have to be the most plagiarised band for intros ever. Here are just a few (the Moody Blues tracks were released several years earlier in all cases.

‘The Other Side of Life’

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USujNc5uPBs

and ‘Black Velvet’ by Alannah Myles

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uS870zCCAwM

‘Running Out of Love’

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIbt4ZeyN04

and Billy Ray Cyrus’ ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ (which actually sounds similar all the way through)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byQIPdHMpjc

‘Tuesday Afternoon’

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kROlhnaYom0

and ‘Silver Lady’ by David Soul

I would say "S&M" is also similar to "Sexy Bitch" although I prefer "S&M"...

People may not know the song but Sarah Whatmore "Automatic" sounds just like Jennifer Lopez "Play" - can't put a link on though because I'm at work!!

I said it ages ago in another thread but I think Amy MacDonald's This Is The Life sounds very similar to The Ketchup Song by Las Ketchup.

S&M sounds like a combination of Sexy Chick by David Guetta and Disturbia and Only Girl by Rihanna. It's a great song though!

Hopefully Rihanna releases Cheers as her 4th single, because she's released two very similar songs as her 1st and 3rd single.

Plan B's She Said sounds like Pixie Lott's Mama Do

La Roux's Bulletproof sounds like Visage's Fade to Grey

Olly Murs' Please Don't Let Me Go sounds like Bob Marley & the Wailers' Could You Be Loved? (except from the intro which is similar to Lily Allen's Smile)

IMO it sounds more similar to He's So Fine than it does to Oh Happy Day
I suppose the chord structure behind the "doolang doolang" backing vocal is what Harrison suggested he was borrowing from. Listen to the piano/Hammond backing when the backing vocalists repeat the lines Tramaine Hawkins sings.

Shit - and I was playing the Harrison and Hawkins numbers in my head..

Lady GaGa - Born This Way starts of as being similar to David Guetta/Kelly Rowland - When Love Takes Over and then Madonna - Express Yourself for the chorus...

Must admit I do like the song even it's not exactly original!!

and-

Kelly Osbourne - One word - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0vhuS7WcKs&feature=fvst

as unlikely as it might seem the Kelly osbourne album is actually pretty good in my opinion [if you like that song]

I agree, they all sound like the Moody Blues ones.

Another one is Richard Ashcroft's "Song for the Lovers" (2000)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNnh8nszFU0
sounds all the way through like the Moody Blues' "The Voice" (1981)

The music that is currently used in the Virgin Media advert sounds similar to Rihanna's Umbrella (not sure on the name of the song though).

There's some song out at the minute , I think it's by The Wanted?
The start sounds like a slowed down version of KOL - Use Somebody.

Yep, it's called Lose You Mind, I think? It also sounds like Club Can't Handle Me by Flo Rida.
