Lady GaGa - Born This Way starts of as being similar to David Guetta/Kelly Rowland - When Love Takes Over
And the intro from WLTO is identical to Clocks - Coldplay

I only realised after seeing Aiden Grimshaw perform a mash-up of the two.

Lady GaGa - Born This Way starts of as being similar to David Guetta/Kelly Rowland - When Love Takes Over and then Madonna - Express Yourself for the chorus...

Must admit I do like the song even it's not exactly original!!
They just played it on Irish radio because it's #1 here. And the dj put on When Love Takes over during it and said it was like a Madonna/David Guetta re-release!

Like to add that recent Kings of Leon song (forgotten the name of the song at the moment). Parts of it sounds similar to Natalie Imbruglia's Torn (in the middle part). The part that goes something like this "doo woo, doo doo, doo woo, doo woo doo woo". Sorry if I couldn't be anymore specific .

It was Matt Cardle who performed the mash-up, I think.

Also, the Cahill remix of Need You Now by Agnes uses that same piano loop in it too!

Also, funny that someone just mentioned 3 Words, because Cheryl Cole said in an interview that she did 3 Words because she wanted her own When Love Takes Over.

Katy Perry- California Girls
Katy Perry- Teenage Dream

sing the the chorus of California Girls over the chorus of Teenage Dream
I think the start of Firework and Teenage Dream also sound similar.

Do You Remember by Jay Sean also reminds of both Breathe Slow by Alesha Dixon and Forever by Chris Brown.

I remember that similarity pointed out years ago and it's really obvious. Also the theme to ITV's World of Sport and the theme to Black Beauty (also ITV).

Lady GaGa - Poker Face.

Horrid Henry - Na Na Na Na Na Na.

That Playground Chant is just so obvious.

Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling
Black Eyed Peas - Party All The Time
I think that was intentional though, will.i.am said he wanted a sort of ''sequel''.

I liked Radio.

I think just "Black Eyed Peas" would've been a better answer...

Yes, but Drummer Boy cancels out anything good she does for the next 5 years.

True. Why won't they just dump Fergie and go back to actually making good records?!

That's pretty funny cos I always refer to Party All The Time as "I Gotta Feeling Part II" cos they're SO similar. I personally prefer Party All The Time though.

Then I suppose Outta My Head is the next installment? Seeing as if you listen to the album in full they flow perfectly.

I think he just wants another hit, to be completely honest!

The fact is so many songs nowadays use the same producers, or the same sounds/rhythms etc. As well as the same chord progressions etc

Far East Movement - Rocketeer chorus and
Justin Bieber - Somebody to Love have the sound effect

The end of the Comfort TV advert and Labrinth - Let The Sun Shine

I heard a song the other day and the intro and backing were very similar to Sam Sparrow's Black and Gold but it wasn't back-announced so I don't know what it was.

JLS - Keep You

and

Cheryl Cole - Stand Up

These two came on one after the other (they weren't supposed to be on my iPod! ahem ) and I noticed how similar they are!

David Guetta & Akon - Sexy Bitch
Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World)

Diana Vickers - My Wicked Heart
Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Under The Bridge
This kind of annoyed me. I understand it does in some parts, but its completely different, the timing, the beats etc...

I don't think she would have deliberately copied, and their reaction was OTT wanting to sue her.

TATU-all the things she said and all about us

Both songs were from the band and sound similar, anyone agree?
I think sometimes bands and artists do that. Some albums sound exactly the same.
