Brucie and Ola
When will he pronounce her name correctly. His mispronunciation really irritates me.
Ola joined SCD in 2006. After 4 four years surely even Bruce should remember the difference between O for Oscar and O as in old. |

Ollla. OHla.
It's not hard, is it? IMO it's really rude that he's not once noticed that everyone else around him pronounces her name differently.Everytime he says OHla, my teeth get on edge just that little bit more. |

Arrghh I'm glad I'm not the only one who this annoys!!
The same goes for the voice-over man too. It's pronounced Olla, not Orlaith/Ohla

It really annoys me how Bruce can't pronounce Ola's name - I yelled at the screen when he got it wrong again!!! And Paul pronounced it right on the VT, and Aliona pronounced it right on Breakfast this morning, and Claudia always pronounces it properly on ITT, not to mention that James pointedly mentions her name frequently after it's mispronounced by someone else.
She's done 5 series of Strictly, and only in the very first one did they pronounce her name right. If Tess can get Artem's name right, there is no excuse for getting Ola's wrong!! |

As he directs them up the stairs, you can hear Bruce refer to Felicity and Vincent as "Felicty and Simone". Which is about the third time he's done that. At least with Ola he's in the right ball-park. Ish.

Didn't we have this discussion last year?
How long will it take for someone to come up with Ola is short for Alexandra? Oops. |
