Robin's appalling garb for the waltz
Braces and that horrible orange thing he had around his neck. Plus to add to it they kitted out poor Patsy in that blown out red dress which made her look huge. For goodness sake I hope these newcomers are not going to totally disrespect the traditions of a dance.
Then we had Natalie's over sexy waltz, even though the accompanying song was my favourite of the night. |

Robin is a sex god, though I do agree he would be better without the clothes

I really didn't think Patsy and Robin's Waltz was all that bad. The music was to my liking and there were moments in the routine which made me sit up and take notice.
Patsy's nerves were a hindrance of course, but the connection with her partner was there and that's half the battle won. The technique will come and Patsy will learn to relax in time. Natalie & Scott's Waltz, though, was not my cup of tea. It lacked the elegance and grace that I like to see in this dance. |

Her dress was bad agree, and Robin who I think is drop dead gorgeous also let himself down with his outfit. Patsy was clearly extremely nervous and sadly stumbled but Robin managed to save the day so she didnt fall over
Its to be expected on a first dance hope she gets better |

Robin looks like a builder. It's not that builders are not attractive, but I don't expect to see them doing ballroom. Robin would look more comfortable on a site in jeans and a high vis jacket.
He ought to have had his ears pinned when he was a child as well. I can't quite get past them, even though I do realise that makes me quite shallow. Give me Artem any day. |

Well he's so muscular that at times it looked like he was wearing a waistcoat. I think he might have looked better with a jacket, but I wouldn't mind him trying a slightly different style.
James gave a lesson - the lining matched Pamela's dress and the grey went with the turquoise. He showed Pamela off beautifully. |

Don't the costume department dress them? Although I believe in previous years they've had some say, like hurriedly getting dressess shortened after rehearsals etc. It wouldn't have been his choice.
Yes he does look like a builder, although I was less bothered by his garb than him spinning poor Patsy round at breakneck speed when she was clearly a bit wobbly. James didn't do that. I quite liked Natalie's dress, and her dramatic waltz. Bring back Ian and Matthew.

I thought Robin looked awful and Patsy's dress was so unflattering, but their dance might have been good if they hadn't made so many mistakes!
The only costumes I like last night were Pamela, James, Ola and Natalie. Aliona looked awful coming down the stairs, but her costume did suit their fabulous cha cha. |
