The "why on earth did you do it Wardrobe?" thread
My prime candidates so far are poor Ann's bolero (not something that suits a well-endowed lady) and Matt and Aliona's bizarre tartan outfits last night (which were a real mish-mash).
Yes Wardrobe are back, with their own bizarre and individual style. So I thought we needed a thread to let off steam about their nightmare outfits. Post your candidates for worst outfit of the season so far here! |

I really enjoyed Matt and Aliona's dance, buttheir outfits were a prime candidate...I didn't mind Matt's shirts, although the gold trim made the shirt a touch too busy, maybe it would have worked better with another colour.
I wasn't at all sure about the two sort of tartan flaps that made up Aliona's skirt, though. I would love to know what wardrobe where thinking. (Loved Patsy's dress, and Pamela looked great too.) |

As I said previously, Tess needs to keep her knees covered up.

Matt and Aliona's scottish country dancing outfits must be up there with the worst ever to be seen on Strictly.....what a complete mess.
Patsy's dress was a bit long and the waist line didnt do her any favours. Otherwise I thought the outfits were not too bad last night. |

Patsy's dress was a disarse-ter. The only woman who looked good was Felicity. Ola was a mishmash and Kristina looked ...er, solid. Natalie - too much information, dear, on the boob front. Pamela isn't a porker but they stuffed her good'n'proper with a lot of dressing! Maliona - shockingly bad. The blokes didn't do too badly on the whole but the women!!!

Anyone know why Matt was wearing his everyday brown crimplene stay-prest slacks?

I liked Felicity and Pamelas dresses best...some of the others were a bit hit and miss though, with Kristinas being a BIG miss!!
![]() Matt and ALiona......I didn't think hers was too bad, but Matts was awful!!

When I first read the title of this thread I thought it said 'why did you do it IN a wardrobe' which is a whole different sort of thread,.

I though Patsy's dress was a mistake. I think may actually have been a two piece, as she appeared to hitch it up at the waistband when she was talking to Tess later, in which case I think it was too loose!
It didn't flatter her at all, I though it made her look rather dumpy, which I am sure she isn't!! Ann's jacket didn't look good - hopefully that won't actually be her costume for tonight.... I really don't think they should be going anywhere near contrasting colours for her bosom area

I didn't like Kristinas outfit, by all means if you have boobs show them off(within reason, this is a family show
)but not so they're hanging out! I agree that Pamela looked larger than she is in her dress, even though it was a nice dress. I actually didn't mind Matt and Alionas outifts, something different hey

I didn't like Tina O'Brien's dress, it makes her look like one of those doll ladies people used to buy to put on top of toilet rolls. She is such a pretty girl and the dress spoils her look - but that doesn't mean she won't do well tonight, I hope she does.

The only thing going for Patsy's dress was the colour, I'm actually in awe of the wardrobe department as to how they can take such a gorgeous woman and make her look so dreadful.
Her and Pamela look to be quite similar in size so not sure how they can make one look like an elegant lady and the other look like they've been dressed in a red sack. |

I think Patsy had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction! It appeared to either be a two piece and the skirt was a bit big on the waist or it was a dress which came adrift in the middle during the dance.
She was pulling at it when she finished and it appeared to dip a lot at the front - don't think it should have done as it could have made her trip! The colour was the only nice thing about it - it certainly didn't help her confidence IMO |

patsys dress wasnt too long as such it was obviously a 2 piece, she had a leotard/top section and a skirt which was too big as you could see it sliding down at the front throughout the whole dance! when she finishes you can see her pulling it up and she pulls it up when shes walking up the stairs to tess.
id have thought that would have been something easily solved by wardrobe after a dress rehearsal or something ![]() edit: sorry someone just said this above as well oops!
