Anne's glittery cardigan was the pits, Jimmi's top too big, Michelle looked like a lollipop, Kara tripped on the wierd flaps hanging down & at the end looked like her choker was strangling her (although I'll say she's gonna give Kristina & Ola a run for their money in the sex-kitten arena). The only ones that made an impact on me looking lovely & them getting it right were Pamela & Felicity.
Oh & the new dancers, one looked like a tramp & the other from the 'hood .
Have they sacked half the staff support to pay Brucies wages?”

I fear Pasty is more Jelly Wallance than Tit Dean and Flick is definitely an 1881 - 18 in SD and 81 in HD. She can get away with those bingo wings in SD but "cover it up please" in HD. We all know you're older than Widdy, dear.

Perhaps Jimi's clothing will get smaller as the series progresses and he starts to sweat off the weight. He's no Cyril Smith, of course, but then he's no Gavin Henson and that must be slightly intimidating.

Matt impressed in spite of his wardrobe and his partner's tartan tabard appeared to be attached so as to prevent any x-rays from damaging her lady parts.

Artem and Robin appear to be of the school that if you've got it you should flaunt it - in their case more is more boys - and Jared should avoid those trews in the future - why was he dressed like that when Tina looked like a Barbie doll?

Out of the entire weekend, I thought Pamela, Katya and Ola looked lovely, Flavia, Felicity, Natalie and Erin looked fine and the rest of the ladies looked varying degrees of a mess. Patsy's dress was just unflattering and too long, whereas Kara's was just appalling!

Kara's opening titles outfit was so much nicer!

Vincent's shirt was exactly the same, though - too long in the sleeves and baggy around the chest. I think they were deliberately going for that look, but I can't fathom out why.

Kara Tointon looked like Kat Slater.

Ola's dress on Saturday was ludicrous. Looked like two glitter balls stitched to her front that she was wearing for a dare.

Generally speaking, I think the costumes this weekend were horrible! Has their been a change in personnel, or budget?

I just thought nearly all the women were dressed in something unflattering. Like others said, it was if they were trying to sex it all up, but I thought a lot of it was just tacky, especially Kristina and Aliona's outfits... yet they are beautiful women! It's a shame.

Also, I'm pretty sure I've seen the floral bra Michelle was wearing last night in Marks and Spencers! Think it's really nice actually. http://tiny.cc/p611n

Certainly looks like it! And you're right, it is nice, I might order it! Agree with your comments, and would like to add that the hair stylist is awful this series.

edit: Just looked, they haven't got my size (XL!)

You could try ringing Kristina.

Was it a misconceived attempt to make him look "Bollywood" ? In fact, there semed to be a theme of referencing at least some of the celebs' real jobs.

I just hope that wardrobe are over it now.

I know Kara hasn't had much work since Eastenders but didn't realise times were that hard for her

Is it me or are the costumes getting smaller and smaller? Given that this is meant to be a family show I am not sure that amount of bare flesh is appropriate. Fine for later in the evening, but 6pm at night?

I reckon that wardrobe have bought bulk lots of material to save money this year. Remember all that fringing from last year. I think we will see lots of the same colour on the girls.

Jared Murillo - oh dear! But I think the ladies' boobies are being displayed to good advantage this series, with perhaps the exception of Anne's!

Dear God what is up with the wardrobe department this year ! There was only one outfit (Erin waltz dress) out of the whole show that I even remotely liked !

I think so. But he just looked like he was dancing in his pyjamas. Latin gear is supposed to be tight, for goodness' sake!

We had Paul Daniels doing his magic schtick, Matt Baker being a countrysider, Peter Shilton with a diamante football on his breast pocket and Gavin Henson with the Prince of Wales feathers on his. Were there others? I've forgotten

Bollywood theme - plus another.

The "Not An Appreciation Thread" thread have spotted a World War 2 theme and are having great fun with it.

Jared complete with book and geeky glasses

Along with all that most of them wasted too much time at the start of their dances.

I really liked Matt and Aliona's outfits... Agree with most other comments though... Some beautiful girls made to look awful cos of their costumes. Poor Kara- did they think she was doing a different show- strictly come sadists? Ann looks awful whatever she wears in my opinion but I'm biased as I hate her with a passion... But let's face it the pink PVC-esque sack wouldn't look good on anyone! And Kristina? Eugh!

Anton looked very handsome in his tailcoat though - I have to say I'm like brucie- I prefer the men with tailsuits...

Well, I hadn't quite decided whether or not to be cheesed off with you. So thanks for clearing that up.

I think we're more likely to catch a peek of them if her skirt flies up unexpectedly ~ she wears them somewhat 'low'
