How do you delete the recorded name on 3 voicemail? They updated the voicemail and it still doesnt have an option to delete it

Just call them and the will do it for you...

I phoned them up they asked me to call 123 then select option 3, 1, 3 but it didn't work

Hmmm, I thought they could do this for you. I know they have changed their voicemail system now, did you get the new one with the male and female voice?

I'd call them back and explain that it didn't work. I'm pretty sure they have changed things like this for a friend on 3.

Yeah i have the new voicemail now. It would have been easier if they just had a standard greeting like 'welcome to 3 voicemail the person your calling cant take your call right now....' or something. I tried caling back their closed now.

Surely not, they are 24/7 I've called them at 1 or 2 AM before, unless that's changed in the last 6 months.

It just said the department is closed at 10 when i phoned. I thought they were 24/7 as well.

Ah ok guess it depends which option you choose ah well..

I called them today they keep thinking i mean the personal greeting. Its quite frustrating speaking to them they never understand is there anyway i can get help with this i looked on their website and found nothing.

The only way i've manage to do this on 3 is just to put the phone on mute and press the hash key one second after the name greeting recording has started..

I've not got the new voicemail on 3 yet- But I thought it would be a feature this time to be honest..

Only other way I guess is to switch voicemail off, but it's a pain!

I've switched it off so hopefully if its like O2 voicemail if it has been switched off for a while it will delete the account.
