I normally despise boybands because I find the marketing really cynical but they were a pleasant surprise.
I think Harry is probably the star of the group. Definitely the most interesting one. Liam is a really strong vocalist too. Zane and the other two are more the support singers though.
Overall, I think them, Belle Amie and Diva Fever/Twem should make the final 12.

They probably will. Simon would be stupid to not put them in the finals, especially after Eoghan made the final 3 and he couldn't sing (neither was he good looking).
They were great, really really strong vocally. I think the two manufactured bands were head and shoulders above everone else.

Same with me.
They aren't the only contestants I appreciate but if they keep improving and stand up to the pressure I think they are likely to win the competition.
I have to say - I wasn't expecting much from this group and I know they are going to get alot of stick on these forums for being young, pretty boys.
However I thought they were actually really good - Harry and Liam taking the lead was great and I think they are going to do very well (especially with young female voters

I'm supporting One Direction. Think they're great, & good that Harry & Liam are doing the lead vocals
Anyone notice though, that in the judges house performance, Louis wasn't actually singing? He was mouthing along as Harry was singing..at first I thought he was harmonising, but you don't actually hear him at all..

Looking back at the audition on youtube, I noticed that too. He seems to be the least likeable aswell.
Overall I thought they were really good, Liam and Harry are both amazing. Plus they're really fit too which is always good! I really like them.

I know this is a bit random but does anyone know where you can buy the same kind of long thin scarfs that Harry wears, as on all the sites I've looked at none of them are long enough?

Couldn't you have put them in spoiler tags?
Anyway, good song choice. I think it would work better if the girl-group performed it solely because it's a male vocal.

Yeah, I imagine that's what it's going to be like the majority of the show. Then someone will say "You need to share vocals", they'll do that, then get slated.
i think they were great tonight well done 1direction i think harry should have sung more but they did great
I liked their performance last night
Niall has a strong voice and so should sing more often, but I'm glad he and Zayn got a chance to sing Solo yesterday. Theres no way they will be going home tonight.. They already have a massive following and I predict they will get close to the final
I can't see them having JLS type success after the show, but then again during the show I didn't think JLS would be this big either (& I'm a massive fan) so lets see what happens
