It was funny seeing some teenage girls getting excited around the newstand at waitrose - don't think I've ever seen anything like that before.
There were quite a few Harry covers and they screamed everytime they saw one.

Tumblr (sorry can't link) have scans from a big entertainment weekly magazine article mentioning the boys and their new single. Wonder if they will release it there?

Really looking forward to their first live performance of WMYB on TV. I'm guessing we will see one before their appearance on the x factor.

Well the boys are on Daybreak on the 13th so that will probably be it. Although I hope they perform earlier than that.

I don't think any of them are competition! Most people have both Rihanna's and Cee-lo's album, they're not exactly new releases.
Coldplay is the only threat from that list, but still see the boys getting a no.1.

In all honesty, even though Ceelo Green has had previouus number ones, I don't think he has had one since Forget you, so I don't think he's competition, probably won' be in the top 10. I don't think Rihanna will get a number 1 as well, the song is not getting her usual heavy promotion.
The boys I feel are guaranteed a number 1.

Looking at that list again actually, I feel Kasabian, The Kooks, Coldplay and Aloe Black, could be the major threats, but I still believe 1D will get their number 1.

I heard Harry and Louis phone in to Fern Cotton today. I was just thinking she is the only radio one DJ to make no comment on them but she obviously loves them. They phoned in about the Reading festival. They had just come back. She then played WMYB and had a lot of love for it in text response. Greg James also had his studio audience in on Friday and one of the girls chose WMYB for her record play if she won the game which she did. So starting to feel a bit happier about radio one support

You know, I was thinking exactly the same thing about Fern, but I'm glad she's now in on the 1D love.

Just to add more for Greg, whom I'm loving so much right now.
On his show this afternoon, he played the song again and reiterated about how much he loves it and thinks it's a fantastic pop song. He also said something about meeting the boys at Leeds festival. He would like to be Louis or Harry's big brother because he feels they will need his advice in the next few years as they become massive.

Have they finished the Take over, or is someone else taking over today?

So Niall and Harry are the only ones yet to turn 18. I'm surprised at how high Louis' voice is and he's nearly 20!

I don't know what's the criticism surrounding the boys. They were put together at bootcamp, they can all sing, at least they are not trying to be like another boyband unlike a lot of bands that audition for these shows. They are five very different voices, so it would obviously sound different. As long as it's in tune, which it is, it's not a problem.

Any more radio appearances coming up?

Haven't heard any new criticisms apart from the usual, infact they've had nothing but good reviews and reception.
