Bruce - "We were going to have the Miliband brothers but they couldn't decide who was going to lead"

Yesterday's one about Goldie not putting his tooth under the pillow for the tooth fairy, but posting it to Cash for Gold instead, was funny.

Only 24 hours and I'd forgotten that - it's my age

I laughed out loud at Brucie's 2012 joke

Luckily, no-one else knows.

I never laugh out loud at Brucie - though if someone else delivered the Milliband or Goldie joke I'd probably crack a smile - unfortunately they had all the spontaneity of an autocue.

Shamefully I don't seem to be able to stop myself from shouting "Nice" everytime he goes "Nice to see you, to see you....."

I honestly can't help it, it's a spontaneous reaction, clearly far too much television in the 80s when I was at such an impressionable age.

I don't find ANY of his jokes remotely funny.

Reused from a previous series, when he said they were going to have Tony Blair and Gordon Brown on

Saturday nights were never the same after he quit hosting the Generation Game.
