I bought this phone today, new, as i've had my last phone for almost 4 years and thought it was time i needed a new one.

the one i received on the back of it says "designed in finland"

i just wondered if that was the same for ann n97's or have i received a different version / from a different country therefore won't have all the same stuff as the original n97's, if there's such a thing?

i'm new to all this, so not entirely sure, sorry for such a trivial question, but i'd be grateful if someone answered it please,

EDIT: Also, sometimes when i'm on the internet it says error in installing an application from ovi store, or error when trying to sign out of msn, and there's lots of mini writing with 'error' and the error type and info on it,
is this something to be worried about?
"this application could not be completed due to an error" but it doesn't say what the error is, just an exclamation mark?

The phone is designed in Finland because Nokia is a Finnish company/manufacturer. So no need to worry about that.

If you let us know exactly what the error says (you say there is lots of writing with an error type and info) I'm sure we can help.

Not all Nokia phones are designed in Finland. They have offices around the world where phones are designed. with modern ways of working the hardware could be designed in 2 (or more) countries and the software produced elsewhere.

They do have slightly different content depending upon the market area but I suspect yours will have a generic "European" content.
