By the end it felt like a rendition of "Something Stupid" by Frank and Nancy where Frank (the one that can sing) was played by Gary and Nancy by Robbie.

I almost expected tongues but they managed to hold back and hug instead. Uuugh

LOL I do think there is something strange about 2 men sitting singing to each other. It would have been so much better if they had been facing the audience but I do love Robbie so i forgive him I bet it was that Barlow's idea

It's obviously not the first time I've heard that song, but it's the first time I really enjoyed it. Robbie is very much the stronger and more confident performer, Gary is the more melodic, but it was a great duet and I really enjoyed it.

I wish so much that people could get away from the inevitable gay inuendos and fixation with sexual partners and think about all the other meanings this song has. Change a couple of words and it could be for any two people that have misunderstood and fallen out for years.

I thought the whole thing was ridiculously self indulgent.

The song is an apology to each other, so why shouldn't they sing it to each other - I like it.

Most people apologise to each other in private, not in song in front of the nation and with the aim of making money.

Perhaps not, but then most people don't fall out with each other quite so publicly either.

Gary Barlow has really gone down in my estimation - used to love him but having mad eyes back into the fold theman is loosing it

I'm afraid I found it really creepy, and I raelly missed the dancing pros ! It's a dance show, after all !

I think this song is a real grower. At first I thought it was a much tongue in cheek bit of fun song but if you listen to the words it's clearly a Sorry song to each other - and they have both admitted to being wrong and said sorry. That's all that was needed.

They were great - and I am so pleased they've made up. Maybe Robbie has been accused of doing it just to muscle in on their success - I was very sceptical myself - but I think it's been very cathartic for both of them.

Obviously there is money to be made but equally it is quite refreshing to see two grown men apologising to each other so publicly and without embarrassment. Both men have made a living out of marketing tongue in cheek sentimentality and camp humour but I can't help but like them.

It wouldn't have been so bad if there had been a couple of dancers as is usually the case on Strictly when the stars perform. But maybe this had to be all about Williams and Barlow? Even Antonio Bocelli agreed to the dancers.
