Hopefully Michelle. After hearing her comments about "not accepting scores of less than eights" (or words to that effect) she comes across as being rather arrogant.

The GBP may not like "loud" people, but they also aren't keen on the quiet reserved types (like Ali, last series, and Rachel the series before.)

I have no idea who will be out first. I'm fully expecting Ann and Paul to survive at least a week or two. If the leaderboard stays in a similar shape it's in now, I'd say Patsy, Goldie and Peter could be in trouble. Patsy even more so because she's also partnered with a Pro quite unknown to the SCD voters. Erin seems a popular pro, so that could pull Peter through.

If I were to take a wild guess, I'd put Patsy & Goldie in the bottom two. Who goes? No idea.

Peter Shilton, Paul Daniels, Golide <------ It's gotta be one of them three hasn't it ? Unless one of them does something very memorable and/or funny in their next dance. Paul and Goldie have ballroom dances next, so it isn't looking good for them. If I had to pick one though, I would say Peter, which is a shame as Erin's my favourite pro - she's lovely.

Michelle Williams is perhaps an outside bet, unless she raises the bar with her ballroom. Her latin was just soo disappointing as everyone expected her to be good.

Do they still announce a bottom two even though there is no dance off anymore?

I am pretty sure it won't be Ann or Paul because I think people are rather looking forward to them giving the judges a run for their money.

I think it might be Paul Daniels.

After this weekend I think it will be Peter or Goldie.

I guess we will find out. Before they introduced the Dance Off they did used to announce the bottom 2 & then the person voted out but on DWTS I am sure the last 2 includes the bottow person (obviously ) and then another random couple.

I would prefer the latter as you are then kept guessing as to who is/isn't getiing the votes.

In terms of my guess on the public vote based on how I think they will do this week, I think Goldie, Peter & Michelle will poll the lowest. Peter's 'fanbase' I imagine is pretty much mainly guys over 45, few of whom I imagine are likely to be picking up the phone to vote. Unfortunately I dont think he will give enough entertainment in training/ITT to gain a great deal of other support from people who don't really know who he is or remember him playing. So unfortunately I think Peter will go

I also think Peter, Goldie and Paul are in the most danger, followed by Tina, Patsy and Michelle for the women. It wouldn't surprise me if Paul stayed through one vote at least, though I think he'll be beaten solidly by Ann in terms the of not-very-good-contestant-the-judges-don't-like-but-the-public-think-is-entertaining vote.

Although I've included her in my three women in most danger I'll buck the trend here and say that if Patsy comes across the same way next week as she did this, she might be safe for the first vote at least. This based purely on the fact that she did seem so incredibly fragile and unsure of herself, and I can see that being even worse next week with salsa, which may lead to a sympathy/ confdence-boost vote. A lot of people on here seem to be inclined to support her through the first week even if they're not overly impressed with her dancing, and I'd say that in general people on here are a fair bit more cynical than the general public. If she isn't in the bottom two, Paul or Peter may go (beaten by Ann for comedy value and Patsy for sympathy).

It's between Goldie, Paul, Peter and Michelle - really although Tina is an outside possiblity. I don't think any of them are likely to do much better next week. Paul may or may not get the anti-judges/poor didums vote or that may go exclusively to Ann whom is funnier. Peter is more likely to be liked by people but although a nice guy he's not the type of person SCD fall in love with - that said Peter Schmicheal was kept in by the public vote so there's some hope for him. Goldie and Michelle are likely to be percieved as highly irritating by the SCD audience especially Michelle and based on how messy their latin was I don't hold out much hope for the ballroom although I think Goldie may surprise Maestro showed he has disapline when he puts his mind to it.

I too think Peter will go, unfortunately as he seems a very nice man. He just doesn't have the solid fanbase needed for this type of show, and football fans of his generation are unlikely to watch SCD and even more unlikely to vote.

Paul will appeal to some people, I guess, and he still manages to tour venues so he must have fans. But I'm also concerned for Patsy, who could go the way of Martina if she doesn't improve drastically.

Ann or Paul would be ideal.

I want it to be Paul (much as I love Ola) but fear he's staying for at least another week.

I'd think Michelle, Patsy, Peter and Goldie are all in trouble. Out of those I'd like Patsy to stay, because she seems so vulnerable and needs the boost, Goldie because he does have potential but needs to knuckle down and Michelle just to see if she does improve. Peter was very 'meh' for me, and although I love Erin, for me, them to go first.

I think they'll go hell's teeth to keep their new pros in, just like they did last year, so Patsy and Tina should both be safe. Michelle may well bottom out in the vote, but her marks weren't terrible in the first show, and she's got foxtrot, so might get herself too high to be caught. Goldie I think might do well in the foxtrot, and if Kristina goes out early there are questions over why she's even employed.

I think it's Peter or Paul. Although people seem quite complacent about Felicity based on how badly she did and how Vincent's owed an early bath. The oldie vote isn't historically high on Strictly, and it's been spread awful thin this year. Hopefully she's more of a national treasure than Ann Widdecombe and Ola Jordan, otherwise she might be in deep schtook.

Between Peter, Michelle, Paul and Goldie.

I hope it's either Michelle or Paul though.
Michelle preferably cos I think she's way over confident

Patsy deserves a bit longer as you get the impression her main problem is a lack of confidence although I think the same is true on the ballroom side at least for Peter too (I suspect his latin is just going to suck). The public seem to quite good at shielding the vulnerable so I'm hopeful for her.

I'm hoping for Paul or Michelle going first.

Oh I can see it now.... "conspiracy"...

Personally I dont think the new pros should get a "stay out of jail" card just coz they are new.

And to add my thoughts on likely candidates to boot:

Goldie/Peter/Patsy (and please Tina and Michelle - sorry can't stand either of them). [Sorry Brendan - but have this feeling he won't be too disappointed as I can see him blowing his top before too longer unless Michelle gets better and knuckles down.]

I think it's between goldie and patsy (although I like patsy). Anne will be in for a long time, paul isn't going anywhere. I think michelle may be next though.

Paul, because he's pretty useless, and although he thinks he's funny he's just irritating.

At this moment in time i'm gonna say Peter or Goldie, but after Saturday i may well have changed my mind. I hope it will be Paul but it's never the person i want.

Paul Daniels to go , he was terrible.”

Martina, Gabby, and (XFactor) Laura White and Lucie Jones, all showing talent to greater and lesser degree and all falling by the wayside far too soon through lack of public support. What disappoints me most about these contestants is not so much the unfairness of their exits but being denied the chance to see how they would have progressed. They also lost the chance to go on learning new skills and enjoy the experience.

Unfortunately that's the way it goes with talent shows where the public are substantially responsible for making the decisions. I guess there will be other shocks this time in both Strictly and the XFactor, unless there was a league system rather than a knockout one.

I agree, pretty good summing up, although I'm expecting Goldie to do much better in the foxtrot.
