I absolutely love Alfie Moon and I think Shane is doing a brilliant job playing him. He had some fanastic storylines when he was in it before; first arrival, stopping Andy and Kat's wedding, marrying Kat, meltdown when Kat left him, romance with Little Mo. When he returned I really enjoyed his interaction with Heather and Shirley. Any other Alfie fans around?

Thanks. Thought this board needed one as there is a Kat Slater appreciation thread and a Kat and Alfie Appreciation Thread but there wasn't one for Alfie on his own.

Absolutely LOVE Alfie! He's sooooooo funny! Love how he's a conman but he's got such a good heart at the same time. Like how he couldn't take the money from the duchess in the end back in 02 and the way he gave heather some money the other week! Was there a dry eye in the house when nana died and he was holding her?

I think Nana dying was probably the saddest event for Alfie in his life as she had always being there for him.

she weas both his parents really wasn't she. It was so sad! My DAD cried, and he thinks soaps are a pile of trash lol. Then again, who could fail to have a soft spot for old nana moon! She was jus good enough to eat!

I think the reason people like Alfie is because at his core he did everything for his family. I'm not too worried about Michael actually because clearly Kat loves Alfie but she's angry at him for screwing up and it seems BK is using Alfie dramatically from this upcoming week.

i'm worrierd about michael not in the sense of him permantly ruining alfie's relationship wiv kat cos we know these two are made for each other. I'm more worried about it putting a dampener on kats character for sleeping wiv her husbands cousin...after the fuss she made about alfie and little mo lol. I'd love Alfie to punch Michael at the end of next week or whatever....he was too much of a gentleman with andy

To be fair we don't actually know the situation around Kat/Michael, and to be honest Michael does come across as an slimeball (which I like btw) so maybe he saw a opning when Kat was at an ebb.

i'm hoping he's a real slimeball and dead manipulative and evil, a bit like andy hunter! Alfie needs a good enemy, he's great when he's squaring up to someone you know he's got no chance in helll of beating in a fight

Well it seem Alfie is going to step up as the Vic landlord is like the defender of the residents in a way.

I can see him standing up one-on-one but Kat will deal with the brawls and then giving Alfie an earful for not helping

sounds about right! Altho she would have had a go and called him an idiot if he had got involved, cos he knew he'd get hurt

Remember when Alfie came home from a date and Kat said there had been some trouble in the Vic but she had sorted it and Alfie said "what about Spencer" meaning why didn't spencer help and Kat said "He hid behind the bar so that was one less thing to worry about"

I always saw Spencer more like a son than a brother to Alfie, well there was 20 or so years age gap between them
