who would you like to take his place?

Anton!

I know Bruce is popular, but for me he's years past his sell by.

Perhaps Lional Blair - I know he is older as well but I think he'd enjoy the work and is also a dancer so he would know what he's talking about. Or maybe he could be a judge.

Yes, I think either Anton or Lionel Blair would be good

Maybe Jimmy Tarbuck?

By partnering him with Ann W - Strictly bosses are clearly showing that he is their preferred choice to fill Brucie's tap shoes when he finally has had enough.

Julian Clary!

Justin Lee Collins!

Anton would be my choice too. But when Bruce goes it will be like changing the receipe for Coca Cola. Some might think it better, some might think it worse, but the show won't ever be the same.

Oh, please not Lionel Blair! Please! That man annoys me more than almost anyone else on the face of this earth.

I think we need a quieter compere, one who can bring it back to the contestants and not be all about them. The American host is really good, but I can't think of a British equivalent.

Graham Norton did a very good job compering Over the Rainbow and I think he would do a good job on SCD.

Claudia! She was fab last year when Bruce had the flu.

I'd miss her on ITT though.

My choice would be Len Goodman to take over Brucie's role and put another female judge on the panel, ideally one of the professional dancers who no longer compete on Strictly such as Karen, Nicole, Camilla or Lilia.

Anton without a doubt
But I love Brucie. Woul love to see Lionel Blair take part in some way though, perhaps a stand in judge or commenting on ITT.

Julian Clary or Claudia Winkleman.

"Ballroom Bill" Turnbull. I like Tom Bergeron on DWTS, he presents it with a bit of cheeky irreverence yet clearly loves the show. I think Bill could do a similar job over here, plus he's been a contestant which may bring other benefits (viewers will know him, he'll have some empathy with the contestants etc).

Tom Bergeron.

Oh that would be even better but somehow I don't think so...

I would be surprised if it wasn't Tess and Claudia. The only way I can see someone new coming in is if there is a huge revamp and Tess goes.

I can't see the beeb giving their flagship saturday show to Anton. He has had some bad publicity and even tho he presented Hole in the Wall, I don't think he is a big enough name.

Graham Norton would probably be the big choice or they may give it to someone younger and who they deem to be the next big thing... I reckon Steve Jones or even lottery presenter OJ Borg could be in with a shout. Ok they aren;t big names either but they may try and "sex up" Strictly with a younger male host.

However Tess presented when Bruce was ill and now ancors Sunday. If they bring in a male and give him Bruce's role, I reckon it would set off rumblings of "sexism". However if Graham did it, they could say he got it as a comedian as well as a presenter I guess and let's face it Tess doesn't do comedy. I cant see the Sunday show lasting but I do think it may be a test of the Tess/Claudia mix with the audience.

Anton would be fantastic, but then what would happen to Erin?

& Please, not Len- he would be like Bruce is when he gets angry with Craig but worse..always pulling faces. Happy Len is great, but not Grumpy Len.

Also I think they may be testing the Claudia & Tess combo with the results shows...but frankly as much as I adore Claudia, I think it should defs be a male and a female. I also like the way Claudia is just like a normal viewer on the Saturday nights .

I 'd be happy with Len and a professional dancer as his replacement.

I'd switch off if they brought in Graham Norton.

What an excellent suggestion. He would be absolutely perfect for the job. And let him bring that gorgeous Wladiwostok girl he did a tango with on last year's CIN 80 days around the World special as a Tess replacement.

I'd be happy to see Aled Jones.

Even happier to see Stephen Fry - but he'd never do it.

I think Graham Norton would be OK.

I would be happy with Gethin Jones! Obviously!

He too has been on the show, he has a wicked sense of humour which was not apparent so much on Blue Peter but he has done lots of presenting since leaving BP.
