Dark Horse Jimi
I thought Jimi was fantastic last night, had the hip action that only Matt was also able to demonstrate but with that sexy undertone that Matt is far too nice and bland to pull off.
I felt at the time that he was quite harshly treated by the judges but reading back, it seems they mostly put him 3rd on the night on the scoring. Could Jimi be in with a chance of going all the way? As long as wardrobe don't sabotage him with his big brother's shirt again that is ![]()

Jimi might have made mistakes but I thought he and Flavia brought the dancefloor to life.
Their Cha Cha made me want to get up and dance with them. They have great energy and a great relationship. The rest can be worked and improved on. |

Yep, I think Jimi and Flav have a fab partnership going already and had a great connection together.
Flav was absolutley on fire last night and it was like she had been so restricted for the past two series, that she was bursting to get out there and dance flat out ![]() Jimi did make a couple of little errors even though Flav blatantly tried to deny it in Tess's Tower... ...but I think they will be on great form for next week and should be exciting to watch as the series goes on. *fingers crossed*

It's definitely Flavia's turn to get somebody good after having to duffers. Jimi is just the right person for her, he has fabulous potential to go all the way with her if he continues the work and effort. He seems to have a great personality too which is great and him and Flavia's partnership is lovely.
Would love a Flavia win as she is my favourite professional dancer.

I think they're definitely going to be the ones to watch. May even put a few quid on it. |

I like Jimi -- he kind of reminds me of Ramps. He and Flavia have chemistry, and I though their CCC was great! A pity that Wardrobe made a huge mistake with that big loose shirt, as it distracted from Jimi's moves. I do hope his ballroom is equally good.
Even with the mistakes, I thought they deserved to be a notch or two higher up on the scoreboard. Hopefully, they'll get support from the public -- especially if they are consistently under marked by the judges. |

He needs to really work on his facial expressions when he dances...

Yes what is wrong with them this year. I know there have been some disasters in the past but in the first week this time there have been more disasters then in a whole series. I wonder have they got rid of the person who used to be in charge.
I must admit, it was only when I started reading comments on here and rewatching the dance that I realised how much of a mistake that shirt was. |

I thought that Jimi danced well but I am beginning to wonder is Flavia is any good as a choreographer?
Did she produce a dance which suited her partner and was pitched to the level of his ability? Costume is important for both of them and was this aspect as good as it could have been? I would say 'no' to all three. |

Jimi seems to have a great personality, he has fun, but also puts in the effort he needs to - I like him.

I would say 'no' to all three. I think Flavia is a good choreographer and she often produces stuff that is really interesting. She's a little bit quirky which means she gets it wrong more often than someone like Lilia, but when she gets it right she is as good as Lilia I think. I thought the pitch of the dance was exactly right, just a shame he made a few mistakes but that seemed to be more nerves than lack of ability. |

I said I liked Jimi right from the first dance at the launch. I am looking forward to him going onwards and upwards.
