Surely has to be "I'm 50 and work in Tesco".

Really pulls on the heartstrings.

It does annoy me this where I work stigma.

What's wrong with working in Tesco's its a job and also a pretty decent job these days.

I wonder what they'll do with Mary's fringe though

I would say single mum Rebecca, but she actually is talented, so I'll agree about Mary.

"I'm a mother "

"I'm a painter "

They could at least be more creative!

reject gamu from outset, "I'm doing it for momma so she don't have to work for a living again." "No bread or milk, I need to win." but as she failed to make the cut she probs don't count but sob storygate reaching crechendo since flopping on X factor....."Don't send me home.....blah, blah." "The many holidays back to zimbers don't count, they weren't watching then." you could not make it up.

other stories Tesco May Westlife connection, contest winner allegly other contest
John Poor wee care home worker, I fell for that, but turns out he has won awards

I'm growing more suspicious of John and Mary - both are far too cool in their performances... at this stage... especially for people just coming out of regular jobs. Both know how to perform, but both clearly lack charisma...and that's why I think they've never made it.

I found it odd that Mary was made to look like she couldn't remember her lines at the Judges house... yet find she's been on the circuit for some time... and all these connections with famous people that keep cropping up for both John and Mary...

I imagine that if Gamu had really wanted to, she could have pulled out the mother of all X-Factor sob stories, & silenced all of the 'oh, my receptionist job sucks, all I want is to be famous, please give me a record contract' types. (hello, Katie.)

She was saving it for the last chance saloon.
