Sally Sparrow in Wall Street

I watched Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps when it came out (the sequel to the 1980s film Wall Street). The main girl character in it looked so much like sally sparrow but I was like that couldn't be. Then I looked up the actress in wikipedia and realized...it was sally sparrow! Her american accent is very good haha

Carey Mulligan has come a long way since her stint as Sally Sparrow

I take it things didn;t work out with Larry then. So she popped off to America sporting the accent to fit in. Good for her. And I hope one day she meets the Doctor again.

I wish Carey would grow her hair long again. The 'pixie' cut doesn't do her any favours.

Something I'm more concerned about: given that Shia LaBeouf exists only to cash in on 80s franchises, is there an alternate reality where he became the new Doctor in 2005?

See what I did there? I tenuously pulled it back on topic.

Hmm...

The topic of the thread was about Carey Mulligan being in Wall Street.

No 'pulling back' was necessary...

Although I will admit - had there been a need, and had you responded with that, I would have been mildly amused.

I tenuously pulled my own comment back on topic. I was making fun of myself.

Oh, wait, now I've achieved the opposite! I see Carey is due to appear in a new version of My Fair Lady — does she actually sings, or are they going to dub her, Audrey Hepburn style?
