Being a fairly happy owner of a Humax Foxsat HDR, I recommended the HDR-Fox-T2 to my mother when she was looking for a Freeview equivalent PVR.
A few issues cropped up after I installed it for her.
1. Series folders are not automatically deleted once the last programme has been deleted. An update introduced this feature on my Foxsat, so I was surprised to see that the T2 doesn't do the same - or did I miss an option to enable this?
2. A couple of channels were assigned an unexpected channel number; Fiver & ITV2 were assigned to channels 812 & 821 respectively, whereas on her Freeview enabled TV they were assigned to the correct numbers. Does anyone know why this would happen, and whether there's a way to fix this (e.g. re-scanning)?
3. There is no sign of BBC HD. She lives approx 8 miles SW of Crystal Palace and I was under the impression that BBC HD would be available.
My initial thoughts with problems 2 & 3 might be to do with her aerial, which is fairly old and sited in her loft - but then she has not experienced any similar issues on her previous Freeview receiver.
Thanks in advance,
Chris
