According to actor Steve North (who plays Older Benjamin), the christmas special is called A Christmas Carol.

Not very surprising

Gosh. Not very exciting title, but no reason why it should be.

The tweet that bit of news comes from was from July, seems a bit odd no one picked up on it till now.

He needs to work on the titles, even his son is telling him that he must do better.

From Moff's tweet yesterday

Quote:
“Told my son the title of ep 1 of the next run of Dr Who. A pause. "I think we can do better, Daddy." Then: "We need clever. Not cheesy."”

There's only one thing to say to that:

It's an apt title for this story imho. Very nice.

The day people on here are positive about episode names touted is the day I start to worry.

I like it. Simple, to the point, and at the end of the day, just an episode title

It also has the unique abbreviation of ACC

So does the Carol refer to Carol Ann Ford?

I was cheered right up by this wonderful episode title.

Nah! Not really. Bloomin' stupid story names. Bloomin' new fangled show producers. Boo. what's wrong with a good old fashioned "The Terror of the Nasty Horribleness"?

Nah! Not really. It's fine. Especially as we're going to be getting a bit of singing.

I wish they'd hurry up and release that one on DVD, now fob us off with rubbish like Revenge of the Cybermen.

That tweet is from July 8th. Has it really taken this long to break on the spoiler sites?

I'm still waiting for the Wake of the Wibbly Wobbly.

I would assume that until the actor was confirmed in the role, no Doctor Who fans had any interest in looking at his tweets.

With that said, I still wonder if the title is 100% confirmed, it might have been a working title, for example.

I'm already tired of hearing about Moffat's son!

Lets hope thats a trend that doesn't continue!

Anyway, I'm sure what an episode is called really matters to some people, but I'm not sure I can bring myself to care.
I've never said "I really liked that episode, but then on a re-watch I notice the title was "Fear Her" and then decided it was a load of crap"...etc.

They're on screen for like 5 seconds. Yeah, on watching the ep again you might be impressed that they work on more than one level, etc, but its really nothing compared to the enjoyment of the episode itself!

Indeed not. It's the content of Fear Her which makes it crap!
