From what SM said a while back we had guessed the Regeneration Limit was going to be mentioned in this episode but interesting that they included the bit about skin colour.

yeah Moff said that a good freind of his would be dealing with the regeneration question....actaully no, he said he would be dealing with something that will deal with a long term fan question...or something like that....and it was rumoured that it would be regeneration number....but I guess his colour could also come into it.......

I think CL would make a great Doc companion in the future. Just got to find a way of getting around the being grounded on Earth thing by the Judoon.

I'm guessing the character of Santiago Jones is one of Jo Grants 13 grandchildren.

That looked a lot better than the other trailer.

Probably because the Skeksis tribute band weren't in it much.

Not to mention Romana briefly toyed with the idea of being blue (I consider her regeneration explained by the 'energy sticks around for 24 hours, can grow a new hand' thing- meaning a Time Lord particularly good at regenerating can play around with his/her appearance for a while). So skin colour is really neither here nor there.

More interesting is the huge assumption that the Doctor ever made sense to begin with

Yep, I believe it's mentioned in The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith that Sir Alistair can't attend the ceremony as he is back in Peru.



Here's a question

Given that we seem to have a previously unmentioned Lunar base* (with Liz Shaw living there) were the people there turned into The Master back in End of Time or was it just limited to Earth?

*I know there is one by 2070 (as in The Moonbase) but I don't believe it's ever been said that there was one as early as 2010.

I agree he would be good. It's entirely possible he auditioned- hope if that's the case he'd try again next time. Not that I want Matt to leave any time soon, just that we know at some point (far away?) he will.
