Always loved her, still love her. She looked babe-licious on Friday, and had positive, encouraging comments for all the couples, with some genuinely constructive criticism thrown in when she felt she needed to. Can't see a problem. She can say "you was" as much as she likes, it doesn't bother me.
I've stated my views often enough - just because I've been less vocal of late doesn't equate to acceptability.
She still hasn't mastered the basics of English Grammar and I pray that babes will not prove to be her word of the series. This along with her bizarre marking simply confirms for me that she has no place on the judging panel.

But does she EVER give her comments/marks first? Because from this week it seems that she waits to see what the others say then follows their lead.
Is this the norm?”
I'd like Bruce/Tess to ask her to comment first at some point.
She did comment first at some point over the weekend, can't remember who for though, I just remember thinking, 'oh look Alesha's commenting first that will annoy those who say she always copies what Len says'

It was Anne's.
And I only know that because I've watched Anne & Anton's Waltz and subsequent judge's comments about half a dozen times

Her marking is no more bonkers that Bruno's.
That said, I think he has no place on the panel, either.
I'd prefer to see two proper experts on the panel of judges, people who have been fairly recently retired former world champions in ballroom and latin. Is that really too much to ask, I wonder?

Really I thought it was a cha cha cha, so maybe she did one on Friday night too, but as I can't be bothered to watch it again to find out if I'm right I'm very prepared to be proven wrong
PS Or proven right! Thanks Monkseal, good to know I'm not imagining things.

It's funny that they didn't ask Camilla or Karen though to take over from Arlene. Still baffed to this day as those two were there to be snapped and Karen is always really good when she reviews on the BBC morning show.
Judges panel is ok by me. Thought Bruno was much improved. Alesha didn't really say anything of consequence but didn't annoy me either. Craig and Len were ok.
It looks like they will have the more heavyweight comment on ITT (on the training videos - see ElizabethJo's posts on warm and tranquil). I'm really looking forward to hearing what Lorna Lee and Michael Stylianos have to say, and John Byrnes and the other lady who will be commenting with him.

But Bruno is able to spot mistakes which someone paid to be a judge should be able to do. I doubt they would ever replace Bruno because he brings the pantomine element which those now in charge of SCD seem to want to take the show.
