Craig
7: Kara, Matt, Pamela
6: Gavin, Jimi, Scott
5: Michelle, Tina
4: Felicity, Patsy, Peter
3: Goldie
2: Ann, Paul

Len
8: Kara, Matt, Pamela

6: Goldie, Michelle, Patsy, Peter
5: Ann, Felicity, Paul

Alesha
8: Gavin, Kara, Matt, Pamela, Scott
7: Felicity, Michelle
6: Goldie, Jimi, Patsy, Peter, Tina
5: Ann, Paul

Bruno
8: Matt, Pamela, Scott
7: Gavin, Felicity, Jimi, Kara
6: Michelle, Patsy,Tina
5: Ann, Goldie, Peter
4: Paul

If I were Felicity I'd be upset at Len and if I were Peter or Goldie I'd be upset at Bruno.”

If I were Jimi (or Flavia) I'd be upset at Alesha - he was better than all of the people she gave the same mark and to make matters better than the two she gave one mark higher than.

The problem I think with the marking is that you don't get to see everyone before you mark - Len has admitted in the frist program of series six that he gave Tom a 9 and then had to give Austin a 10 because although he didn't think he was flawless he was better than Tom and had to have a higher mark. Of course the answer to mark lower to begin with.

Well, blimey, based on the markings, no-one except Craig has any place on the judging panel.

she's certainly gained in confidence this time round.

get rid of her. Pointless remarks, everybody's her friend, over rated marks.

"hot" "babe" "you look lovely"...so patronising - especially to older contestants.

The thing that elevated Strictly above BGT and the X-Factor was that the judges knew what they were talking about. Yes, Len was the main Ballroom judge, but all of the others were very experienced choreographers and dancers. Alesha rather spoils that. It is primarily an entertainment programme, but some authenticity would be nice.”

Cheap shots? Hardly. There's a good reason why the producers felt the need to remove Arlene from the panel -- she continually put her foot in it... and judging by her opinions of the show since she left, nothing has changed ... But I don't want to come across as an Arlene basher -- she was cringe-worthy, but I honestly did not mind her... I just prefer Alesha, that's all.

Recaps are already written - matter of seconds just to check who went first for each person. And obviously entirely worth it in the course of defending Alesh, vaguely, ish, even though I don't think she's very good. especially as they've now removed the one thing she was good at - deciding dance-offs.

Yeah, Alesha's rubbish.

But then, they're all rubbish, except for Craig - he's the only one actually providing information and guidance. If you look at the celeb reactions, you see that a lot of them are actually listening to Craig's comments, whereas they're simply reacting to the others.

I actually really like Alesha as a judge. Didnt think I would.
BUT Karen would of been brilliant - shes also brilliant on ITT. I have always found her very interesting to listen to.
Oh well!

If they were going to remove Arlene they needed to replace her with someone who could bring something to the table knowledge-wise. I don't mind people whom say they didn't like Arlene but it's those whom think Arlene's failings justify Alesha whom bother me.

I've said this many times but Arlene was the only judge who gave constructive advice. Craig gives a long shopping list of tfaults but Arlene was the only judge who suggested how to work on those things. Last year, I kept imagining her screaming at her tv set "Tell Craig to go to ballet classes to learn how to hold his hands instead of splaying them out and to go drama classes to control his facial expressions!" and "Tell Natalie Cassidy to go to ballet classes to learn how to point her toes!" Arlene was the only judge who ever made suggestions like that and it was sadly lacking last year. I really felt that most of the contestants just didn't improve technically from start to end of the series. I'm not against Alesha and I don't particularly want Arlene back but I do think the panel needs a judge who will step up and take on that role. Perhaps it's time to revamp the entire judges' panel?

I agree with you about Jimmi (he was first up too) and although there was nothing wrong with a 6 from Alesha, he's not in the right group.

Looking at those scores, I don't agree with any judge's groupings!

I agree that Craig is the most constructive of the judges. If more people listened they would realise that Bruno and Alesha come out with far more twaddle.

You don't want to come across as an Arlene basher? Bit late I'm afraid. Arlene was honest, which is more than can be said about Alesha. Arlene was cringeworthy? Alesha takes the biscuit on that front!

What a totally stupid post.

Strictly is just a bit of sparkly fun on a Saturday night, not the World Ballroom Championships. Alesha's role on the judge's panel is to offer advice/guidance/encouragement to the celebs -- having gone through the whole experience, she knows enough about the show to be qualified to do that.

Whatever. Arlene crossed the line one time too many, therefore had to go...

Given that this is an Alesha thread, and the frequency of "would of" in here, I'm can't figure out if you're joking, Kat

She does use the word babe a lot, to people she isn't really familiar with.

Imagine what she's like to her friends/husband or whatever etc...

Neither do I, but I think Craig's are about the closest in terms of dancing, although not necessarily in who my favourites are

I loved her as a contestant but find her very annoying as a judge.
I would much prefer Karen Hardy or Camilla to be on the judging panel.

So many of your posts are rude ad hominem attacks... why don't you go back to your frites and warm beer and leave him to it?
p.s. I do know what ad hominem means and I've seen you do it before to several. Distancing yourself by attacking the "post" is hardly better.

The same could be said for the same Alesha posts, over and over again. Just because the title of the thread is worded differently doesn't mean it isn't the same old boring topic.
