Is a £15 a month 5GB MiFi contract with Three a realistic alternative to (what I consider to be) prohibatively small mobile data allowances?

I like to stream audio through my smartphone when out and about in the car. Do smartphones connect to the MiFi dongle and perform reliably on the Three network?

I doubt it will work that well when you are traveling in a car, I find my internet is a bit choppy on the train.

As good as any other network really, but it's the mifi that might let it down a bit.

FYI 3 do 15 gig for £15 if you just want a mobile broadband dongle, the sim card from the dongle will probably go in any smartphone and could be used to stream.

the Mifi unit will work perfectly well with a phone, and I have found works better for signal than my phone. then again i do have a N97 so thats not saying much. I used to use it to download from iPlayer as that option wont work with the phone directly. Doesn't seem to work now though, maybe 3 now detect my phone connection or maybe the N97 is just naff. Anyway I found it works well.
