I am a little worried after reading both forums today I am not too sure I want a mega changed Leona but I suppose it depends what the change is, please god nothing like that Kesha woman, I would not call her stuff music to be honest, it is noise to me.
Adele has just proved you dont need to sing a load of crap to get high in the charts also She has had mega great reviews, I wish Duffy had done as well with her second album as I like her more also like Amy Winehouse better so hope she do's as well when and if she comes back.
After reading all the posts on here I went on the official forum to read what was on there and read a post saying they want Lady GAGA to write songs for Leona's 3rd album, God I must be on a different planet as that is the last thing I would want.”
I agree, what we don't want is Leona getting caught out again bringing out some electro pop pap to match GaGa and Keisha only for everyone to want something different again.
My biggest concerns are this.
1. The singles must be the sort of thing that radio will want to play and therefore cannot be ballads (Simon Cowell you have been warned, I will enter the X-Factor and wave my willy at you if that happens) uptempo yes, GaGa like, no, but foot tappy.
2. I want them to re-think how she sounds in the studio, with both Spirit and Echo they took some of the essence of her voice away, you notice it when she sings live. I don't know what they do, if it's over production or what but they really need to stop pratting about in the studio afterwards.
3. They need to get the PR right and her image this time.
Leona herself needs to be a bit more outgoing this time as well, a bit feisty in interviews and not afraid to bite back.
If someone asks her (probably some BBC droid) "What's Simon Cowell like?", she really should say "Why don't you bloody well ask him yourself, you're supposed to be interviewing me about my album"
Or something along those lines, just not "oh he's really nice and not mean"
She must get fed up with thick hacks asking her that question (I'm fed up reading about it) so bite Leona!!
