It does, well mine does - have you got the new profile? and the chat thing is only that far up because the windows being resized.
I'm not sure if his profile is real though... it'd be interesting if it is!

Spirit is just HUGE, even Echo isn't that bad and not far off the likes of Tweedy and Alexandra.

Thank you.

Do you also know the worldwide sales of both? I recall that there has been a lot of debate about the sales of Echo - didn't the Labyrinth programme claim sales of over 2 million?

Yes i think there was some debate on the 2 million figure and there was a very BAD argument here a long time ago now about Echo sales.

It's probably between 1.5 and 2 million and I think Spirit officially passed 7 million last year, but someone might have proper figures.

The idea of concept albums has gone out of the window these days when people can buy individual tracks anyway.

She needs three or four good tracks as singles, the first two need to be uptempo songs, be they uptempo rock, uptempo R&B or whatever.

Radio must love them, do a cracking video and promote like hell.”

I think Scene Of The Crime would have fitted better than Outta My Head although to be honest I am not that mad on Scene Of The Crime, If I was to change Echo at all I would have had Stay instead of Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Can't Fight It inplace of Outta My Head maybe.

I am a little worried after reading both forums today I am not too sure I want a mega changed Leona but I suppose it depends what the change is, please god nothing like that Kesha woman, I would not call her stuff music to be honest, it is noise to me.
Adele has just proved you dont need to sing a load of crap to get high in the charts also She has had mega great reviews, I wish Duffy had done as well with her second album as I like her more also like Amy Winehouse better so hope she do's as well when and if she comes back.

After reading all the posts on here I went on the official forum to read what was on there and read a post saying they want Lady GAGA to write songs for Leona's 3rd album, God I must be on a different planet as that is the last thing I would want.

Does anyone have any sort of sales breakdown similar to this:

Hallelujah- 1.200,000
Bad Boys- 700,000
Broken Heels- 290,000
All Night Long- 260,000
Start Without You- 230,000
The Silence- 20,000
Overcome- 710,000
TOTAL- 3,410,000.

It would be interesting to see them. (to me atleast )

This is nice to hear. Came across the site lastnight, somehow.

Quote:
“"Stop Crying Your Heart Out," Leona Lewis

Echo (UK version)

Because Lewis applies to Oasis's ultimate power ballad all the diva trademarks: big choirs, sparkling strings, and a succession of hair-raising high notes. But most of all, she brings a voice every bit as huge and self-confident as the song deserves.”

Depends on what they mean, Speechless is a great song, she's a talented writer.

I agree, what we don't want is Leona getting caught out again bringing out some electro pop pap to match GaGa and Keisha only for everyone to want something different again.

My biggest concerns are this.

1. The singles must be the sort of thing that radio will want to play and therefore cannot be ballads (Simon Cowell you have been warned, I will enter the X-Factor and wave my willy at you if that happens) uptempo yes, GaGa like, no, but foot tappy.

2. I want them to re-think how she sounds in the studio, with both Spirit and Echo they took some of the essence of her voice away, you notice it when she sings live. I don't know what they do, if it's over production or what but they really need to stop pratting about in the studio afterwards.

3. They need to get the PR right and her image this time.

Leona herself needs to be a bit more outgoing this time as well, a bit feisty in interviews and not afraid to bite back.

If someone asks her (probably some BBC droid) "What's Simon Cowell like?", she really should say "Why don't you bloody well ask him yourself, you're supposed to be interviewing me about my album"

Or something along those lines, just not "oh he's really nice and not mean"

She must get fed up with thick hacks asking her that question (I'm fed up reading about it) so bite Leona!!

I would rather have Amy Winehouse write songs for Leona to be honest, now she is a talented writer (or was ,it is such a shame what happened to her, though she did it to herself.

Yes agree there, can you imagine if she said that to a interviewer that would shock a few
I know what you mean about studio and Live Leona I always feel they loose something in studio recordings she sounds so much better live.

The 7m worldwide for Spirit seems about right, therefore approx-

Echo world sales =7/3 x UK sales

Applying that gives world sales of 1.5m for Echo, assuming the rest of the countries had similar problems on average with her singles as the UK did.

However it is easy to imagine that Syco/J immediately shipped 2m out to willing stores based on the then current sales of Spirit - about 6.5m, so they will claim that as sales.

Just saw that screen shot on ATRL, i hope its not RedOne as that will piss me off.

No RedOne!

Labrinth is signed to Syco, anyone think that he might produce something for her? I think that could be quite interesting, I love Let The Sun Shine, and his production for Tinie Tempah is amazing, although I'm not sure it's very Leona

I'm more suspicious now after that, but the thing about 'Add Ryan as a friend' - isn't that because the Syco guy 'is now friends with (a guy called) Ryan' and it's saying 'Add him as a friend'? Not add Syco guy as a friend, but Syco guy's friend Ryan.

And the grammar thing too - I type more formally in statuses than I do when I'm facebook chatting someone (it's quicker, I'm usually typing fast etc)

But the wall thing is suspicious and it would be quite easy to have a convo with anyone else (e.g. I know my best friends password, I could go on her account and do it) and screenshot/paste it onto a screenshot of this guy's profile (even from someone like me who is crap with computers). But he would have to be friends with the Syco guy to see his profile I'm guessing, I doubt someone that high up would have a public profile, so he can't be lying about that part. And it does seem a little elaborate for no particular reason? But it would explain why he's reluctant to tell Music_Box anything.

Oh, I don't know. I'm just going to pretend it's real so I can be happy and excited

Well I told him about that photo comparison and how it's maybe fake but he said it's not and sent me this: http://i56.tinypic.com/auw1mh.png

Which would explain the 'Wall' part of the photo?

Oops I just realised that's the guy's profile.
