What else to do with broccoli?
I tend to always serve it with a roast type dinner (meat, veg, potatoes and gravy) or alongside a pie?
Anything more exciting I can do with it? |

I use it for dipping in cheese fondue (beacause I'm not stuck in the past). It's also good in stir fry or brocoli and stilton soup.
Thought I was going to have loads this year but the pigeons decimated it! |

Interesting - I've never made my own soup (not a fan of soup really?
)I do stir-fry lots though, never with broccoli mind. So would you boil the broccoli before adding to to the stir-fry?

Depends on the size but i'd say no, just cut it small enough to cook.

We had brocoli in our stir fry last night. Just cut into small pieces and fried raw. It's really nice.

Broccoli soup is lovely, you should try it.
The fad on cookery programs is to puree it then put a spoonful on the plate and drag your spoon through it. A bit pretentious and arty I know but you could have a go at being a Masterchef for the day. |

Insert it into a loved one's bottom. (With their consent of course.)

Loaded broccoli.
Broccoli topped with bacon, mushrooms, onions and whatever else you want...covered in cheese and baked or grilled till cheese melts. |

When I do it as a side dish, I blanche it in boiling water first, then wok it with garlic and chilli, it's always very nice. I've also made brocolli pesto which was good.

With another veg and rice or noodles it's a complete, tasty and very cheap meal. |

Whenever I have brocolli it's almost always stir fried with either soy or oyster sauce.
With another veg and rice or noodles it's a complete, tasty and very cheap meal. Yummy! Thanks all... |
