Freezer food
I'm planning ahead for when I'm due to have my first baby in February. As I know that food preparation time will be extremely limited I want to spend some time over the winter preparing meals that can be frozen.
Apart from bolognese sauce, chili sauce, soups and stews what else is good for freezing? If I made a shepherds pie or fish pie would the potato topping freeze OK? |

I also freeze chicken pieces in their marinade ready to stir fry when defrosted - or you can freeze it after stir frying. You can do the same with pork, beef etc I have chicken jalfrezi in the freezer - ready to defrost and heat, then all that's needed is the rice. Hope your pregnancy goes well.

Thanks both. Just need to defrost the freezer now, so I can start my cooking and get it re-stocked!
