Sadly with her poor attitude she's going to be known as yet another brash American with an over inflated ego. Sorry to those Americans whose egos are deflated.

Didnt warm to Michelle at all and was not as impressed with her dance skill as she obviously was. Imagine she won't last long unless she attempts to do some grovelling. Then again if she grovels, I'm likely to dislike her even more; but, she'll pick up a few more fans.

The foxtrot is my favourite dance and should really show if Michelle has any potential. What I find entertaining about her is that she is not as predictable as a lot of the celebs, so I do hope she does well in the foxtrot as I would like her to remain in the competition for some time.

I looked up Brendan's record in the foxtrot with his partners as I thought it was good. It seems if his partner is a good dancer they do well otherwise the marks can be low.

The cardinal rule of giving feedback is to balance the positive and negative. The only judge who I ever see making a concerted effort to do this is Craig.

Michelle was totally right imo to point out that it would have been better for the judges to say what she did well too. They seemed to have high expectations of her and therefore concentrated on the negative when she didn't meet them.”

Yes I agree they should give positive feedback but Michelle wasn't treated any different to other contestants as regard the negative comments. She just couldn't take it, look at Felicity she just smiled and agreed with the judges and didn't complain about it afterwards.

I have NO IDEA who this woman is but I do not like her much. Her hysterical manic video was embarrassing to watch! Poor Brendan, I think the American "stars" are used to being told they are fabulous and wonderful even when they are not. I will never forget Britney on X Factor, dancing (badly) trying to look sexy as she mimed her latest record yet she got a standing ovation from Simon and Co!!! Never mind Whitney Houston's awful performance!!! Michelle obviously thought she would be praised and she was pretty bad. She was so wooden and was all legs, like Bambi. Perhaps she thought if she took off enough clothes, nobody would notice her dancing. I would not be surprised if she is the first contestant to be voted off the show. Poor, poor Brendan!!!!!

I have had a chance to watch ITT now and OH DEAR! Brendan mate, you are not helping her by reinforcing her feeling of being hard done by. And as for the comment about couldn't they have said something nice about her sparkly eye make up? Helloooooo? This is SCD not American's next top model!

Unfortunately it's a very British trait to put things down. Michelle obviously isn't used to the negativity but that doesn't mean she can't take it. It means she would have preferred more balanced feedback. Can't see why that's such a bad thing to suggest myself!

Michelle wasn't treated in a different way to the other celebs. Most of them were totally slated. The difference was that they knew they were bad; she thought she was quite good.

I'm all for postivity but I can't do doing with a 'don't you care critisize me' mentality. The judges did get her hints on how to improve but you can't say anything positive if there's nothing good to say (well I suppose she had a lot of energy but you can't say much else good about it). You have to admit when you're wrong and accept critisism otherwise you ain't ever gonna improve.

See, I didn't get a 'don't you dare criticise me' attitude from her at all. I was expecting it, having read this forum before I saw the show. All I saw was a woman who seemed rather down wishing they'd balanced their comments with something nice too.

The point is why did she think she was quite good?

As usual claire we are in agreement.

Me too. The VT was from the very early days of their training too, not recently at all. It's nice to see someone with a confident and positive approach to life, but she's probably finding it hard being amongst people who are not like that.

I think that the training video shown on ITT last night will have done her no favours with the voters. I don't know if she is aware that acting like that does tend to put the majority of SCD voters off. If she stays in perhaps Brendan needs to put her straight.

I think it was just high expectations from everybody. I think other people thought, like me, that Michelle was going to be the next Nicole Sherzinger. She used to be in a huge girlband, she's probably had to learn some choreography before, she'll learn the steps really quickly and she'll be brilliant. I think the judges were expecting that and Michelle kind of believed a bit of the hype too.

Although, as other people have mentioned before, she needs to stop being so hung up on the comments, they will definitely affect her dancing if she doesn't let go of them soon. But regarding her and Brendon mentioning that all the comments were negative, what about huge suckup Alesha! She was nothing but positive, so I don't really understand why they seem to have ignored her comments, unless like the rest of the population they don't take her seriously as a judge.

Maybe Brenda will be glad to be shut of her.

Michelle was never a great dancer in Destiny's Child. She was OK, but compared to Beyonce and Kelly, she always stood out as weak.

Her dancing didn't surprise me at all - she needs a lot of work. Brendan I think is the best partner for her - he's strong and won't take all bullsh!t from her, if she tries to fob him off.

Hopefully she will get better but I think being so tall and lean may work against her. She looked so awkward.

Only time will tell.

Just finished watching the ITT clip and she has 12 SUGARS in coffee? No wonder she is so hyperactive! That is actually really really unhealthy.

Cripes!!! I'd be whizzing round that dancefloor like a balloon being deflated after 12 sugars AND coffee!!!!!

I think I'd send her for a diabetes test if she needs that much sugar!

She says she needs that much because the coffee is so strong. So 12 sugars AND strong coffee?
