Nope, she looked pi.....ed off to me during her ITT interview. Toys out of the pram time!!! I doubt if her personality and manic behaviour on the video will go down well with the Strictly viewers, I think the video on ITT might have finished her off!!! and she will be the first contestant to go. Got the impression that Claudia was no fan after her joke about not showering!!!!!

Ohh harsh. At the risk of sounding like Pamela it smacked of Alesha over-indentifying with Michelle though.

She didnt dance like someone who had been in the biggest girl group of all time.

Some of the contestants with no dance background what so ever performed better than her imo.

Still, she might improve.

Yes, that's what was so shocking. Rachel Stevens probably did much less dancing with S-Club, but she was a much better dancer. Not to mention the fact that Rachel's group were seen as being naff and Michelle was in just about the biggest girl group ever. She must have done some fairly complicated routines.

I think to a large extent, you have either "got it" or you don't. I can't see Michelle ever being great.

I dont think she will be any good either.....this is going to sound odd and I expect loads of people to tell me that I dont know what I am talking about (whats new) but I dont think she is the right shape for ballroom dancing (particularly latin) where movements have to be fluid but also quite precise and sharp, she is very very slim (I think her head looks too big for her body) with very long limbs which she seems to have no control over and she has no 'core' strength. Add to that the feeling I get that she is spaced out on something and its all a disaster waiting to happen. I hope really for her sake and the sake of the BBC that the most expensive celeb doesnt go out first week but I can actually see it happening.

Michelle certainly doesn't seem to be able to control her limbs. Not only that, but she doesn't seem to have much body awareness at all. I'm not sure what Brendan will be able to do about that.

I've been irritated by a few zlebs over the years but nothing approaching this one on the first week. What a hyperactive pain.

Just an aside on Brendan. I know what to expect from him by now. Still, perhaps he could consider how he comes across and see that this constant whingy reaction to even the mildest criticism is annoying. It's one reason why the female pros (generally) tend to do so much better, in that apart from a certain Aussie they seem to have a more relaxed attitude to the whole thing. If he really doesn't enjoy it, then time to pack it in.

Oh I don't know. Camilla Dallerup of the door-slammnig semi-final breakdown two years running? Erin? Lilia pre series 5 when she got broken? Karen "Emotional Timebomb" Hardy? Katya's bitchy commetns after she and Phil got eliminated? I don't think Natalie's the only one taking it seriously on the XX side.

This talk of alphabetty spaghetti reminds me of the first group dance and the party poppers.

I feel that on the main show she came over as stupidly hyper, arrogant and over-confident. Then on ITT as a sulky madam who thinks she has a god given right to be adored and to achieve without really trying.

Of course it may largely be in the editing ... but to be honest I think not. I never thought I'd feel sorry for Brendan, but to be fair it looked to me as though he's got a hopeless task trying to get her concentrating long enough to learn anything,

Add a likely mid-table position and the profile of the typical Strictly voter (ie not many Destiny's Child megafans) into this mix and I make her hot fav. to go home first.

Ha .....and who was it that posted she was the most famous person ever to appear on Strictly? To which most of us disagreed.

She isnt doing well in the 'least favourite' poll on here either. Very embarrassing for the BBC if their big foreign star goes home first 2 series in a row.

I'm quite surprised that Katya is so popular on here. Natalie for me just seems very openly competitve and perfectionast. But Katya comes across as qutie brittle to me.

Biggest girl group of all time ?
The Supremes ? Certainly not Destiny's Child.

They were awarded the title of biggest selling girl group of all time.

Most viewers of Strictly probably won't even remember the Supremes. I'm not sure they were going while I was alive, ,or at elast, while I was aware.

I think Brendan has been looking a bit fed up with his partner. If she doesn't buck her ideas up and knuckle down tosome serious training and drop the attitude, I think they will fall out......bigtime
P.S. I like Natalie - why do most people seem to dislike her?

Gibetjohn,

How many sugars in your coffee? Cut down by 4, I think.

"Cow" is such a rude word that when I was of school age, one parent came to our school when she discovered her only daughter had landed this as a nickname to plead with everybody to stop. Eventually we did when we were made to realise even as cocksure 13 year olds how much it was hurting her family.

So how come every British person (male or female) believes he/she has licence to call a woman "cow" if she appears on telly?

Supposing I told you to sod off? How would you then feel?

Hard one to call for me, this. As a fan of DC and Michelle as a solo singer I've never previously seen her be anything other than modest and if anything a bit self-effacing. This is the first time I've seen her interviewed since she commenced her theatre career and yes, she does come across differently. Maybe it is partly because we're contrasting her directly with the other SCD contestants, who are all Brits and mostly used to the way the show works. Maybe it is just a bit of culture clash, Or maybe she's just become more defensive in light of recent experiences, both during and before SCD.

I can't warm to Michelle. She's way over the top. She really thought she had this series in the bag and didn't expect the judges (apart from Alesha) being quite harsh towards her with their comments.

If she doesn't like strong coffee all she has to do is put hot water in it! It isn't hard. Sorry, but Michelle's days are numbered.

Maybe it comes out of a machine and she hasn't got a choice about the strength!
