It's that agressive bully boy character he has!! Anyone agree?

Sorry, nowhere near as an odious dodgy chancer as Balls. Dan also came across well on YF with a sense of humour and some grace, something Balls wouldn't have even if you injected him with a horse sized enema syringe of the stuff.

Still, I think we both agree we don't like Ed Balls

ex whips' office, and DWP Minister Tony McNulty, had a reputation of being a bully and a thug. He lost his seat in 2010. Paid back his expenses mind

His face and frame reminded me of James - was he last year or the year before?

If you mean James 'success in spit/many others' McQuillan, then spring 2009. James is 6ft 4, same as Dara. Dan looked to be a big guy. Maybe that threatened some.

Have I stumbled upon a thread from the Tory party conference?
I like Ed Balls, he`s not a bully although he wasn`t my choice for Labour leader.
Now to the Apprentice - Dan & Steve should both have been fired.

I miss Margaret with those facial expressions. It`s just not the same without her.

I consider Dan a much nicer personality than Ed Balls and Dan is a horrible thuggish full of BS twonker. Watching YF tomorrow so unable to comment on a possible personality that some may have spotted!

Agree that Margaret is missed. Hope Karen finds her feet quickly and is known for her own quirkish behaviour; not hopeful though. Glad the Lord is back in his rightful chair.

YF is worth catching if that helps. Dara is very good and brings the whole thing up from being merely a cheap spin off.

Margaret wasn't the best with business nounce, but still better than Nick IMHO. She was a very good judge of people though, fair and missed little.

I meant to say Dan & Stuart should both have been fired instead Dan & Steve - just shows the impression he made that I couldn`t be bothered to get his name right!
Think I`ll call him the Baggs man in future

Deleted post. My mistake, I meant to post it in the main episode thread.

He reminded me of the guy in Short Circuit 2 who trys and takes advantage of Johnny 5 (no innuendo intended!) and make money out of him

I once worked in a bar where the management was taken over. The new boss wanted to keep the staff on but he was just like Dan.
He bumbled in like a bull in a china shop throwing his weight about and barking orders. We all quit our jobs and walked out.
People don't work as well if they are terrified of the boss/manager.
Mind you, only a couple of the men stood up to Dan, the rest looked scared of him.
