I am so glad Dara has taken over this. I hated Adrian on The One Show, but actually really liked him on this. However, Dara is great for this IMO.

I thought Adrian Chiles' shoes were going to be tough to fill, but Dara did a wonderful job.
He's funny and he asked good questions and got the panel involved just the right amount.
He's slipped comfortably into the role.

Chiles was too lazy IMHO. Ever the easy, go with the editors' flow sort of questions. Dara was much tougher than I expected. I think it still works though as he knows when to back off and he's just the right sort of engaging. He doesn't create victims. Otherwise I agree with you there. YF has finally been worth watching.
I think Dara did well on his first day. Mock the Week has made him comfortable in the studio. But I did miss Adrian a bit. I miss his understated but perceptive wit, perfect for this show (and Working Lunch).

I totally agree and was surprised how nice and articulate Dan was.

The contestants always come across so much better on the spin off show. If only they were like that during the tasks!
Too pumped up and eager to stand out and make an impression I guess.
