I love the way they've developed Rory's character and increased Arthur Darvill's on-screen time week by week. He's a terrific character cleverly and touchingly portrayed by a talented actor.

Out of all of the regulars in series 5 and 6, I think Arthur is the one who will get the really big career opportunities off the back of being in DW - he shines on screen and has that "average man" appeal that worked so well for Martin Freeman after The Office.

Wish we got more interaction between Rory and the Doctor, the Doctor only seems to address Amy. I really like Amy, not one of the people who want Rory as the main companion (they both need each other, and not sure they'll work as well alone), just a little more interaction would be nice.

Agree. Rory is becoming my favourite character of this series and one of the best companions. I always worry though that he isnt going to make it through an episode still breathing.

I think this is deliberate, and in some way I reckon it's gonna link into his Auton past/the 2000 years he spent guarding The Pandorica.

agree with all of you,,, i am a finding i am looking forward to rory being in the eps.... this one? i knew that was going to happen,,well no I did not, but I thought it would ..... amy has been off and on.... why not? my hand goes up for being a romanticie with rory..hmm romaticie? sorry,, if any casting.... ????? lol
Serious,, why is Rory all of a sudden being very empthatic? yes I now men can be ( and again serious) but why him ? now? lordy moff you do play with the mind..

must be honest it wasn't my favorite Rory episode this week, even though i loved the episode, the rory/jenny subplot just felt like it didn't build on the potential from last week, however next week looks like being a great storyline for Rory..

I thought that the rory/jenny subplot was rubbish

I have warmed to Rory. I didnt really like him at first but now I do.

when I first saw Rory I thought he wasn't going to last long and would be killed so I never really let myself get too attached to him as a character. As the series has went on however I find myself liking him more and more and I'm finding his character really interesting. Unfortunately though the more I'm liking Rory the less I'm liking Amy because I think she's treated him pretty badly and I cringe every time she calls him stupid.
