Funny line from Sugar

Can't remember the precise words but it was something like:

"It's sink or swim and I don't provide lifejackets."

I thought that was quite funny.

None of his one-liners are very funny but they laugh because they feel they have to to.

I'm sure we all know that he has 'others' preparing his one-liners (but must admit, his delivery is excellent)

When he said something about Nigeria! ha

That was in response to the shouty candidate saying he's get a £10m (?) return from the £100k salary if the Lord hired him. Then Alan said something like "I got an offer like that from Nigeria once." It's his unscripted jokes that are the funniest.

He said something funny in the boardroom the kosher decable week as well.

One of the candidates, claimed he was a "Good Jewish boy"on his CV, then, he said he was only half Jewish, Lord Sugar then said, "Will pull your pants down & check the evidence"

I do too. I understand why he can be disliked, does come across as Del Boy type at times, but despite some of his ventures failing, regardless: he's the multi millionaire and you don't get there without having some savvy about it.

That was the egotistical eejit known as Stuart Baggs saying that AS could get his £100,000 back if SB didn't prove himself etc.

You have to love AS at times.
