F**k you is a great song!! Way better than those two Fake That idiots... so they are friends now, who cares? They are more likely doing it for the publicity and of corse the money rather than the friendship, I mean funny how Robbie didn't rejoin the band till his latest come back failed to be a come back, can't blame them but the song is crap and I wouldn't be surprised if at some point they fall out again and someone is walking off once again.

It is getting to number 1. It was 13000 singles ahead of Shame, yesterday. So there's kind of no point to your thread.

Hahaha what a pathetic excuse to have a rant. Anyway, Cee-Lo was always going to beat them to no.1 this week, it was inevitable. Pointless thread.

And if the OP knew anything about "Fake That", they would realise that Take That actually asked Robbie to rejoin...

Hardly Robbie crawling back to them, was it?!

I've loved this song ever since i first heard it, but i have to keep listening to the uncensored version because the radio version of "forget you" is starting to worm it's way into my head ..

The radio edit, Forget You doesn't make sense. I mean he sees some pretty girls and wants to forget them? No, the naughty version makes far more sense folks!!

Don't they pretty much mean the same thing?

In a funny ironic twist, my local radio station played 'Forget You', preceded by 'Never Forget' by Take That.

As usual people trying to get something to no. 1 more because of a hate of something rather than a love of something

why don't we try and get a song that actually has a story or message to it, something that someone has actually written and crafted, s a song with quality, Oh no I forgot we don't do that anymore do we?
Oh well as long as it's not one of those x factor formulaic bland people.

Indeed. Brilliant performances. Also great to see him getting down to Steve Miller with Janelle Monai

Have only just caught up with F**k you - the official video is hilarious. Love the backing singers.

Just wondering if this song would have got the publicity if it didn't have a rude word in the title.

Songs like these make me realise why the UK Top 40 is so shite these days. :/

Radio stations have been playing the edited version constantly. It's a great song with or without the swearing.

Yes I know the radio has been playing a clean version, but there are people out there (mainly kids) who will buy the song because the proper version has a naughty word in the title. Would it have sold so well if the only version was called forget you?

I agree that the song probably wouldn't be as popular if it wasn't for the swearing, but I still think it'd be popular if Forget You was the only version of it, just not as popular.

I don't really like the song, but I don't like Shame either, so I'm not bothered. Miami 2 Ibiza is what should really be #1 this week to be honest..

Also, a lot of people have bought both versions of the song, which will make it seem a lot more popular than it is.
